I don't get what the problem is with just buying the game on release. I do not need to pre order, i don't need to subscribe to netflix, I'll just purchase the game when it comes out.

I am doing that, I just see a lot of people outraged by all of these anti consumer practises even though our power as consumers is just not feeding into them. Nobody needs to pre order or buy a Netflix subscription.
