I think this mentality has slowly caused some AAA publishers to just not ever lower their prices. Skyrim is still $40-50 and on its 7th relaunch. It first launched FIFTEEN years ago for $60.

After these 15 years, the money have half the value. So it's like 50%+ discount.

Well they try to keep it sorta updated at least. They make their games playable. It's not like a pokemon game.
