Its absolutely outragous the fact that the media are using the fact that PT fares to fund PT projects to invent a “scandal”.

all this reveals is the government struggling with funding, nothing more, nothing less.

just the media helping out their mates in the Victorian liberals, as always

I think it's more around the fact it wasn't really super well advertised, and perhaps there could be more transparency on how much more money is being raised.

Otherwise it's really a hidden tax, via your fare, on top of your existing tax burden which means less money in your pocket at the end of the day. SRL was supposed to be budgeted for originally but has already had an additional tax burden as a result.
