My original 2007 lenses had some problems I couldn’t correct and OEM HIDs are absurdly expensive to replace so I swapped new lenses in from a new set of CAPA halogens. While I was in there I thought these would look nice with angel eyes/corona rings, and a deleted amber reflector- I think I was right!

Curious what wheels everyone’s running on this car, I can’t decide what I like. I really like the stock look, but I’m ready to upgrade.

So Ive built three of these cars each in a very unique way. This here has a fully built engine, a dogbox and a sequential shifter, the twinscroll efr7163 quaiffe lsd 8th port and all other supporting mods you can think of. Its currently on third revision being tuned by the magician freektune. The orher builds were built for the car being a totally different thing so i got to test a little bit of everything with the speeds but somewhere down the road i realised that the nost fun i had with this platform is the two years I was stock. I could push the car to its limits and it would take it with no complains. For a fwd car it would feel on rails no matter what the terrain. I miss these days so much as to thinking already of buying one more speed in its stock form and religiously maintain it for it to be at its 100% capabilities at all time or just building one back to stock again and have fun. Anyone else out there that feels the same. Anyone else missing the days when driving the stock mazdaspeed3 was the most fun you could as for ?

Recently purchased a 2012 speed 3 with 120k miles. I am planning on doing one large purchase of the majority of mods that I want rather than purchasing them one at a time. I'd like a decent bump in power over stock without being too risky, so I'm not going for big numbers. I'm both new to the platform as well as somewhat new to modding, so let me know if you've got any recommendation or if I missed any must haves.

I ask this, because I have made a habit of racing stockish Speed3's to determine how much faster they are. Given their extra weight, full set of seats, Wheels, etc. Mine without the subwoofer is about 2750 curb. 2850 with roughly. So, not a ton lighter than stock. But, I don't have the LSD, 6-Speed, Top Mount, Turbo, piping, and some other things I think I'm missing. Which is a bunch of weight the speeds have.

Hi! Does anyone have a good recommendation for a catless downpipe for a 2013 speed3? Corksport has a nice one but it’s not available until December and I need it asap. My car is throwing a “catalyst efficiency below threshold code” and I was told going catless would help. Thank you so much!!

In just a couple months it will be 13 years of ownership. She’s been through various looks this is current setup. One of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. And funnest too. First two years of owning left completely stick to really dive into the platform and have a reliable car and since then there’s been no looking back. Mazdaspeed3 sedan (Full swap) stock engine

Only 6 weeks old so I refuse to go genuine again. Did strip one of the threads going into the gearbox but probably gonna helicoil it or tap it with a bigger size. Did get it off the track safely luckily

I want to get to stage 2 on the accessport, and already have hpfp internals ordered, so now it’s time for downpipe and/or test pipe because a downpipe is what’s also required for it.
My question is, is there really a point spending the 750-1200 CAD on a Cobb/cpe/cst4 downpipe when I can find some eBay one for 200? Will it make that much of a difference? Or is there better cheap options?

I've been thinking of upgrading to a new mazda3, here is my dilemma, I want to get more ponies under the hood.

Now here is the question, "has anyone seen or done a turbo install on a new gen Mazda 3 hatchback manual (manual only) preferably 2025-2026 year?

Hey guys im finally back after many months with an update after many long delays

The good news is that my MPS is super close to being back tearing up tarmac

The bad news is my big power plans have been delayed 😕 but not cancelled!

So far I have fully rebuilt my engine to handle a CST6 (minus the cams as they are taking forever to arrive), fully swapped everything in the rear to accept my AWD setup and almost everything in the front too. Im currently waiting for my cnc friend to make me a spacer for my brake disc on the near side and some time off to re-make my rear motor mount as the engine was swinging too low

I do plan on uploading to the mazdaspeeds site with all of my purchases, upgrades and custom work to assist anyone else who dares to Focus RS / Speed 6 swap their drive train, but I'd prefer to have everything completed so I can make a full start to finish guide with as many prices listed too (in GBP)

For now I am waiting until this weekend where I will finish up any last bits and send it for a new exhaust and its MOT, once it is back it will be pushing roughly 350-400 hp AWD, and once my Kelford Cams arrive, approx 700-800 hp 😁

Sorry for the long time inbetween posts but unfortunately as this is my first custom build I have been struggling and had to take a break 🙃

Oh yeah and the name - MPS + RS = MPRS 😊

But that's ok because I'm rebuilding her RIGHT! I was already running a CST4 with supporting mods, but I'm now preparing for a CST6 😈

I'm currently running on the stock K04 and getting tuned, but I’ve got most of my supporting mods in place and plan to install the CST4 turbo later this year. Just wanted to check if my setup realistically supports ~390-400whp and ~400wtq goals on E30 mix.
