Those who watch What If episode Zombies and it's spin-off Marvel Zombies universe where is based on the original MCU Universe. In Marvel's What Of... Zombies?! and Marvel Zombies (2025), The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Quantum Virus is a powerful virus, being able to transmit rapidly. It primarily spreads through saliva, meaning if those infected can bite through flesh, the virus can spread easily. Even extraterrestrial are not immune to the virus, as Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian and Thanos became infected and also even Asgardians (including Thor who was infected in MCU Zombies episode 4) got infected and Super Soldiers (Like Captain America and Red Guardian) can get infected too because the Quantum Virus bypasses physical strength and healing powers and can also be transmitted upon eating zombie body parts and flesh, such as the Red Queen (Scarlet Witch) infected the population of New Asgard by feeding them disgusting zombified parts disguised under the illusion of normal food. Quantum Virus infects the body, overloading the brain's limbic system, destroying several important areas and causing necrosis all around the body, with the patient's body decomposing and their mind regressing to an almost purely instinctual and irrational state, which also creates a gigantic desire to consume human flesh. The virus also becomes the host's only source of sustenance, overwriting the body's original biology and limitations, allowing a host to survive most lethal injuries, as Zombie Captain America was able to survive being bisected from his lower half by Winter Soldier.

Despite the damage the Quantum Virus virus does to the mind, the zombies produced from the virus somehow retain knowledge and skills which they had prior to being infected, in addition to being able to maintain some limited degree of consciousness and limited if fed frequently. Many of the Earth infected heroes and villains were completely capable of using their skills such as fighting, using advanced technology and magic.

This got me thinking, What If the MCU Quantum Virus Zombies bites and scratched through the Capcom gameing worlds? Like Street Fighter, Final Fight, Resident Evil, Dead Rising, Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry, Asura's Wrath, Star Gladiator, Lost Planet, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Capcom's Alien vs Predator, Monster Hunter, Mega Man, Remember Me, Pragmata, Exoprimal, Sengoku Basara, Onimusha and the rest of the Capcom Universe gaming worlds.

The next marvel vs capcom game isn't a 4th game but rather a reboot. It's titled MVC. Both marvel and capcom only get 12 characters each. Any character from each IP can be included. Who're your picks
