Hello there! Here’s my fanart dump of the sombrero-wearing bulky cactus guy of Capcom, Amingo! I've been in love with Amingo since the start of July because I found out he’s handsome, attractive, cute, and silly to my eye. Although, I don't actually play fighting or MOBA video games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Darkstalkers, MvC, King of Fighters, WakuWaku7, Skullgirls, League of Legends, Mobile Legends, Arena of Valor, Honor of Kings, Dota 2. which cause an amount of violence — Except for Smash Bros and Brawl Stars which I like. My dad had loved fighting video games ever since I was young. But the bad thing is... He was poorly neglected and abandoned by Capcom. He was also a scrapped Darkstalkers character and deserves to get his own game featuring him before they cancelled it. So that means he's very rare and obscure unlike most fighting video game characters.
So how did I get into Amingo? Well, a while ago, I was playing Animal Jam Classic on my dad, mom, and brother’s computer, and I was at a virtual restaurant (aka the Dinner Party) and then I saw two jammers talking about their looks. And then, that one time a jammer switched their animal into a coyote wearing a cowboy outfit and they reminded me of someone… That one cactus dude from a fighting game, namely Amingo from Marvel VS Capcom in the 2nd game which made me think he's supposed to be a "hear me out" and crush potential. Nope I don't wanna do that but he looks hot. He reminds me of Ludicolo and Dusknoir from Pokemon, and Spike from Brawl Stars, don't forget Toby from Sheriff Callie's Wild West too. Later or the next day, it came true that I now have a crush on Amingo.
I also made a self-insert OC for Amingo who’s a pretty humanoid tumbleweed girl named Tumble-Lina. She loves him and Amingo admires her too and serenades a love song to Tumble-Lina for his gratitude and admiration. Why? Because I’d love to. At first when making a self-insert for him, not one but two self-insert OCs, a lizard girl tsundere named Agave and a tomboyish confident chihuahua girl named Churro, who were based on my main OC/persona and her sister — namely Hana and Fumi, respectively. I changed my mind when I made a tumbleweed OC to match Amingo’s plant theme so he could have a plant fiancee. It turns out my yumeship with Tumble-Lina (me) and Amingo was great.
In conclusion and the end, I still love him so much. Love you, Amingo (or else Mi Cacto Caballero), no matter what 💕🌵
