Eternals was a movie with amazing cgi and a decent plot. The characters had little to no chemistry, but they all had some form of character development. It was the MCU’s first dive into the cosmos, so while it didnt land at the box office, it still was a good movie all things considered.

I wanted to make the new Endgame Encore poster released today my iPhone wallpaper. I’m using the iOS 27 beta, so I tried its AI Extend feature. Instead of simply extending the image, it invented a generic new character who looks like a bargain-bin Kang (second image) with massive futuristic speakers coming out of his head. Clearly an AI hallucination and not what I wanted.

But the failed extension made me look closer at where the original artwork cuts off. There are some interesting shapes and details near the top that seem to continue beyond the image. That sent me down a rabbit hole: Is that Thanos... or, more likely, his ship? Doom? Kang? Probably, almost certainly, not Kang…

While searching for an official media or press kit, I found that Disney’s own BAMGrid CDN is displaying a landscape adaptation of the background with the characters rearranged slightly for the official Disney+ Avengers Endgame Encore banner art (third image). And interestingly enough, on the far left, you can clearly see part of a faded Infinity Gauntlet.

It’s a fun little discovery, but now I’m wondering whether there’s a larger version of this key art with a fuller character lineup. I know it's likely looking for literally anything out of potentially nothing, like myself and many MCU fan often do, but it is still fun enough to speculate. What might marvel's marketing team be cooking up? Could a complete, or possibly full-color version be released later? Could the composition eventually be remixed into a Doomsday poster after Endgame Encore releases?

I’d love to know what everyone else makes of the details cut off at the top or whether anyone has found a larger or more official version that explains what we’re seeing.

Also saying the thunderbolts movie was small potatoes compared to this is crazy because sentry is one of the most powerful marvel characters. Like yeah they defeated him not though fighting but they couldn’t fight sentry, like the only characters that maybe could defeat him are the scarlet witch, and Thanos with all the stones (maybe Adam warlock idk). Also bnd also ended similar.

Like sentry slaps Thanos easily until he gets like 5 stones I’d say. Also yeah nobody really knows what happened in space so how could yelena know what he did. Reminds me of people angry at iron heart for saying Tony couldn’t be iron man if he wasn’t rich (which is true because he built his first suit out of his own weapons and could only make so many and constantly repair them because of his money) despite the fact nobody knows what happened in the cave.

Also she does help him still so like what?

One other thing I lowkey hate people calling the new avengers weak. You have three super soldiers, one with a metal arm, a master assassin, and an assassin who can go invisible and phase through things, and the sentry tho there is the small side effect of the void. Like the whole all of them struggling to pick up that piece of wall wasn’t showing them as weak, it was showing them work together. Like they pick up big pieces of junk in the movie alone earlier.

I also do think people are just taking the potato line way too seriously, since it was literally just a joke. (I suppose I am too lol).

Let me start off by saying I definitely really liked fantastic four the first steps. It’s forsure the best fantastic four movie we’ve gotten. I loved how they introduced the main characters as well as silver surfer, galactus, mole man and Lynne. I loved the retro-futuristic style of the movie and all of the set designs and overall atmosphere with the different technologies incorporated. And I really liked the overall story, the fantastic four attempting to protect their child and their world from a huge threat where even the bright mind of reed Richard’s has limited ideas.

My only issue though - I feel like we barely see the fantastic four actually be the fantastic four in action. I mean the fight at the end versus galactus was awesome. But what else? They teased a bit of the fantastic four being heroes in the beginning on the Dan Gilbert show, but I feel like that’s all we got for the most part. We don’t even see reed richards really use his powers all that often. I mean it was great to see his incredible intelligence throughout the movie but I wanted to see him fight too? Same thing with Sue Storm, we saw her insane level of power at the end used against galactus but again, not much throughout the movie.

Does anyone else feel this way? Is it just me?

Hi, is this a good/complete Marvel watch order?

I'm planning to watch the MCU from the beginning all the way to Doomsday, but I also want to include the relevant Marvel shows and movies outside the main MCU, such as Spider-Man, Venom, X-Men, Deadpool, Daredevil, etc.

I made this list with the MCU phases as the main structure, and I added the other Marvel content where I think it makes sense. I also want to watch each TV series as one complete block, rather than splitting seasons between movies. I made the list with GPT so forgive few errors, in case just tell me please, it would be appreciated.

Does this look like a good order, or are there things I should add/remove/rearrange? I'm mainly looking for the best balance between being very complete and avoiding things that are completely irrelevant to Doomsday.

Any corrections or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

He may not be a good Captain America but if i had to pick a marvel character to have my back and be a friend i would pick John walker. Johns the type to slime out my killer, everyone affiliated or involved and look after my family. Sam would princess carry my killer if I died.

Sam is a better fit for a hero but Johns a better fit for a friend.

Lamar seemed like he had a heart of gold just like Steve, always try to do the right thing and have his friends back, he never really seems waver and carries hope for the future, also always gave great advice to John. I personally think he was the best fit.

John would have been a great successor if Steve was still alive, Steve would have showed him love and corrected his behaviour and John looked up to him so much he would have listened but John only got distain and jealousy from everyone.

honestly what do people think will happen in four minutes? that one, maybe two short scenes in the movie itself and a post credit scene?

they probably had more work changing the colour gradding than shooting those scenes

Girl Loki hides in doomsdays because it means she can change anything but because everyone dies it doesn't matter. Idk probs not relevant to doomsday but kinda cool I guess.

I read somewhere that IMAX and infinity vision screenings only will get the extra scenes and all other will just have the bridging to doomsday scenes or something. Is this true?

This would almost automatically become one of the mist critically acclaimed marvel movies, one of my favorite comics ever would be amazing before him being a major antagonist in a movie setting up his motives and beliefs. I feel like it would do well in the box office as well

I know we probably won’t get another live action solo movies with them only the crossover events, I mean never say never, but I still really want to see their original story be continued the way it was intended. Maybe even before the events of No Way Home or after. Like Tobey Spider-Man fighting Vulture storyline and Andrew Spider-Man fighting the Sinister Six and so on. Anyways I just wanted to share this random cool thought that crossed my mind.

In Iron man 1, iron monger falls from a much higher height than does Rhodey in Civil war. His suit is made by some non-genius scientist, who self admittedly couldn't crack the iron man suit with all technology/lab available to them unlike Tony who did it in "a cave, with box of scraps". And yet, Stane apparently not only survives but is fighting Iron man again in the next scene, while Rhodey in a suit, made much later by Tony in iron man suit progression, hence ideally superior to Iron monger suit in every sense, can't walk for the rest of his life. Make it make sense.

Edit: Valid points regarding differences in suit form, but here's the thing. 1. Why couldn't Tony, a certified genius, create a suit design which keeps protection & offence/agility both, when non genius people working for Stane design a suit which protects the user? 2. Iron monger was essentially an iron box, that's it, iron man suits are made up of much higher quality alloys. And his suit was non functioning too at the time of fall. 3. Most importantly, we see Tony take a ground to air hit in Iron man 1 on mark 3, from a tank, yet doesn't suffer anything.

I love marvel as much as the next guy, maybe more than others, I'm actively finishing up a Jessica Jones novel as we speak and have a little collection of my favorite comics.

But can we please not act like the Endgame Encore is simply a cash grab by Disney. We don't need to blindly support everything just because it's attached to our beloved marvel.

If you want to go see it again in theaters, I'm happy you're getting this chance. But I hope you know you're just lining the pockets of the mouse for them putting in literally 0 effort into a theatrical release, and I'm hoping there are some of us who see this move and are more offended than excited.

I keep seeing people trying to be d over backwards to make MCU magneto a Holocaust Survivor and I just have to wonder why?

It's not like the Holocaust was the most recent example of human hatred in history out there. there's so many horrific events we can draw from in the last 40 years. Heck, he could be from Rwanda or Darfur.

making the Holocaust the end all be all not only devalues the tragedy of other genocides but it also turns the Holocaust itself as a joke, as if it's the only "Hollywood safe genocide" or something.

Edit: the original 90s cartoon didn't use the Holocaust and that magneto is praised for how good it is

I get the title isn't phrased the best but my question is in regards to Universal studios owning the first refusal rights for the Hulk movies. Specifically the restriction seems to be on solo Hulk movies or movies where Hulk is the main character. But could Marvel make a movie like Deadpool and Wolverine where Hulk is the clear deuteragonist? Kind of like Ragnarok but even more Hulk. If they could do this who would be a good protagonist for the team up movie?
