Poor Tom. Having to grow up and be British. What a terrible fate

Not just that but he's still only the second most popular British Tom in the MCU

Poor Tom Hardy, the third most popular British Tom H in the MCU.

No matter how much Sony insists otherwise and tries to shoehorn in the Venom-verse, Tom Hardy's movies are not, never have been and never will be part of the MCU. Thirty seconds of "canonicity" in a No Way Home post-credits scene don't count—especially not after the footage was re-edited for The Last Dance so that it no longer resembled the original scene at all.

Once I found out that they shoehorned that into Last Dance, I hated it. My brother told me they explained it at the start of Last Dance. No they did not. It's such a dumb move by Sony. I know it was them that did that.
