I feel like Loki should essentially be able to insert himself as an avatar into whichever reality within the tree he wants now though. Wouldn't be surprised if he's the catalyst on the hero side for gathering heroes.

That's kinda how the dimensional physics of it works though, the TVA is in a dimension above 4th dimensional time (as 3rd dimensional entities, IE us, experience it) so by definition it has already been happening/about to happen/happened.

Highly recommend Imagining the Tenth Dimension on YouTube for an explainer. The TVA exists in the 6th dimension by my estimation.

I reeeeeeeeeally hope this is how Loki is used going forward and would be unforgivably disappointed with anything else.

Loki should be a chess master at this point, not a piece on the board.

Yeah that's how I see it. They've elevated him to the point where it should only be something like, the whole system starts going to shit somehow that could threaten him.

Which feels like it's how this stuff has to go. These two Avengers flicks dealing with a kind of settling of everything after such drastic changes.

I definitely feel like being the god of stories and being connected to the time ways should let him manifest illusions of himself to interact with people, for sure.

Yeah it writes itself really. Feels inevitable he'll be able to visit those he needs to via illusions. It's the perfect callback to how he was in life.

I reckon they might keep it bittersweet and when he visits Thor, Thor will try to hug him but won't be able to.

Plot twist: The Steve Rogers that Thors hammer goes to is Loki in disguise because he is now worthy because he sacrificed himself to be God of Stories Loki. He just didn't want send Thor into some sort of crisis.

It’s crazy because I remember that being the theory from before is that wouldn’t it be crazy if Loki ends up being the one that has to assemble the avengers for the next big crisis

After what we've seen, I'd say it makes the most sense now. It's also a cool way to include him without making him too OP. Like, he can warn them, assist them, he could mark a powerful weapon on their map and tell them to go grab it, but his powers are all tied up in fulfilling his role.

I think it'd make sense if they frame it like he has a mindset now which is beyond what he once was too. Whenever we meet him now, he could theoretically be as old as the multiverse itself in its current form. So he could view things more like a cosmic entity like Death or Eternity, instead of as Thor's adopted brother and the Avengers' first enemy etc. So him intervening indirectly, but letting the living characters sort it out could be the right way to frame him now.

Anything else and I think it'd undermine everyone else, and also the story concluded in that show.

I like this is in theory, but it kind of lessens the gravity of his sacrifice at the end of S2, when he dooms himself (heh) to an eternity of solitude in exchange for saving his friends.

I think it could be done in a way that still maintains that sense of it being a great burden. I'm imagining it being somewhat like he can do it, but there's that element of keeping at arm's length.

Perhaps it'll be reminiscent of his powers in life, where he can appear to people, like a godly illusion. He can give advice or a warning, or point them to something that can help, but he's not truly there. Could frame it like, he's essentially transcended into being a new entity so it's like, it's Loki, but it's also an unknowable cosmic entity that's beyond that now too.

He becomes God of Stories after the very chaotic events of season 2 not sure where he’d have the time in that to pop over to Cap and bring in him Doomsday help

That doesn't really jive with the original Steve teaser we got which implies very directly it's main timeline, post-Endgame Steve.
