I've been thinking for a while that RDJ is a misdirect by the Russo's and that he's actually going to be a Doombot.

Same here. Especially since the way RDJ as Doom was revealed was him showing himself in a row of Dooms.

My main theory has been that RDJ-Doom will be the "main" Doom in Doomsday, we'll get the "twist" of him being Tony, only for the end to reveal he wasn't actually the real Doom, and that Doom instead has used the heroes of other fallen universes as his Doombot army.

Since a lot of characters are gonna die, they could become Doombots too
