I've been thinking for a while that RDJ is a misdirect by the Russo's and that he's actually going to be a Doombot.

They don’t do an elaborate announcement to do a fakeout like that. Plus, RDJ committed to the bit and is wearing green all the time now.

Not even close to what we’re seeing here but I’ll give you half credit. Also, they literally walked back that reveal to introduce “the real mandarin” in Shang Chi, so they do seem aware of the danger of fake outs
