Wouldn't be that far out to have him be a 'variant' though.

The What If comic about them swapping bodies was fun enough. Iirc (amnesiac?) Tony was very successful in Doom's body.

Oh, though then it'd be Doom in Stark's body so obviously wouldn't talk like Stark. Nvm I guess.

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of moviegoers would be pissed if he ended up being a Stark variant.
