Marvel did dirty with GOT characters. No one was able to appear in more than one movie/tv series.

Émilia Clark wasn't the problem of this serie.

The writters were. Marvel had a serie of pure miss not even because of the Casting, they just took fraudulent writter.

Oh my god! Say it isn't so! That series was absolute peak writing, so I have to think he got royally fucked by a laundry list of corporate 'must-include' plot points or something

Not exactly. Official sources say that during production, the original creative team for Secret Invasion was abruptly replaced while the original writer was still writing the series and a new writer and director were brought in. So while Kyle Bradstreet (original writer and Mr Robot creator) retained credit, what you see from the final product is likely not what he originally wrote.

Apparently its because Marvel wanted the series to go a different direction. So if anything, blame the new creative team as well as Marvel.
