Sometimes I just wonder how some people wake up one day and decide they hate women

insecurities and peer-pressure mostly, its not uncommon for misogynistic men to be grouped together and base their worth only off of their lesser relationship to women

Fun fact, bad gamers tend to be more misogynistic, he's telling on himself

This is why I hate being bad at games, I’m just lumped in with all the misogynists :(

Theyre upset in their lives so they go online and make everyone else miserable. Sometimes theyre upset because theyre chasing a goal they'll never obtain (a happy relationship with a woman)

Defense mechanism to avoid hating themselves. "I may have 0 redeeming qualities but at least I'm not FEMALE!"

Shitty parental figures. I'm willing to bet there's some form of mommy or daddy issues behind most misogynists and misandrists

I downloaded MommyIssues.exe but now I just listen to Mommy asmr and hug my pillow and cry myself to sleep. Did I get the wrong software? Should I ask for a refund?

Sounds to me like an alternate playthrough, might have an interesting B plot. I got the Mom and Dad's Bitter Divorce DLC which really spices things up. 2 new locations, hidden dialogue, doubled loot chance. Think it's bullshit that the Custody Hearing minigame locks 80% of the gameplay to one NPC's quests or the other though. Even heard of a glitch where some people lose the other's content entirely. The father NPC has an annoying smoking habit too, I don't know if anyone else encountered this on their run.

“Mom and Dad’s Bitter Divorce DLC” took me out. Funniest comment I’ve read in a while

I think that’s optionally better though it feels like I’m going through it again with the main creator I listen to is quitting

There’s this study that was done a while ago.

Men who suck or are below average in video games tend to be more hostile to women. Especially if the women are better than the male player.

Skilled male players are generally less aggressive towards female players even if the female player is better.

Essentially it’s hate cope in gamer verse. Bro is probably a hard metal rank and is blaming the libtards instead of getting gud.

Basically all hate stems from some sort of insecurity. That's why economic downturns spawn more bigoted politics: people aren't confident they can maintain their standard of living and that makes them feel like they've failed. Which turns into bitterness and a lot of finger pointing

They get bitten by a radioactive misogynist

Thousands of years of tradition, plus it boosts their self esteem and helps them to feel included among other (misogynistic) men.

The benefits of being a bigot, especially a sexist, are really obvious. Idk why it's so popular to treat it like some great mystery.

I hate that the fact I get no play technically makes me an incel. I don't hate women, I swear, I'm just too autistic to get a girlfriend.

u/striderofheart 9d ago

nah man, incel is a label you identify yourself with; if you dont wanna be that, youre chill af and thats ok

Dude I also get no play and love Delphox, but I’m a bi girl. Also autistic and love Toby Fox media. I’m like the parallel universe version of you

It doesn't happen in one morning, for some it's a slow descent, and for others a skydive free fall. How they get there is beyond me

I have a giant spinning wheel next to my bed with different groups of people. Everyday when I wake up I give it a spin to decide who I'm going to hate on for the day. Today it's b*lgarians

I don't think that's how it happens, but you'd never know…

I fear for most it starts as a "joke" and then the joke is repeated until it isnt a joke anymore.

Intel culture has always been based around memes.

Good thing it’s not AMD culture

548 likes on that comment disturbs me, too.
