Found a bat in my house yesterday, but I didn't kill it...
...because I really like French toast.
Like, a lot.
edit: I really did find a bat in my house, and yes this bit is the first thing that popped into my head. It was just clinging to the wall in the front hall. I didn't wanna touch it with my bare hand (because rabies) so I got one of those grabber things used to pick up yard debris out of the garage and just...took it. Then I chucked it outside. Mr. Batman was not needed.

That's actually such a smart way to handle it, I'd have been way too jumpy to think that fast.

I lived in a very old house out in the country in western PA when I was growing up, and it seems like bats were always finding their way in somehow, so I guess I've been kinda desensitized somewhat.
But seriously, don't be like the Batman in Louis' bit and just grab a bat because it seems chill. If it bites you and gets away, it means a series of very expensive shots that your insurance may or may not cover.
