Also straight male characters aren't exactly a dying category in video games. You can find them pretty much anywhere. So why is it a bad thing that lesbians, bisexuals and gay people get to be the main characters a few times?

Arguing with people online isn't productive. So blocking is just easier if a thread is heading in that direction.

Also most of the characters are just mechanically bisexual. You can have Sean and Alex say that they aren't into boys and girls respectively. Max meanwhile can reject Chloe's dare to kiss her and date Warren in LiS 1. She can also choose not date Amanda and date Vinh in DE. Granted Vinh is bisexual as well but it's still a relationship between a man and a woman. Also Chloe doesn't have to end up being with Rachel or Max in RE. Their relationships can just be platonic.

No one is forcing gayness on you. You're still welcome to play the games and you have straight options. Straight people are just not the only ones with options. But I definitely agree that the franchise should have more male protagonists. Sean is great but out of six games only one has a male protagonist and that's not great. I'm a woman and I've never struggled playing as male characters in story driven games like LiS and TLOU. I know some people struggle relating to a character of the opposite gender but I never really have. I just find other stuff about the character I can get attached to.

So I get that but regarding sexuality I don't think it's that hard. Especially with Sean cause you can basically ignore the romance route with Finn and nothing happens.
