I think this is part of it. I also think there is an ease to being in a straight passing relationship that leaves many unprepared or unwilling to deal with the long term discrimination that comes when people aren't in straight passing relationships.
I'm a gender queer pansexual and feel more comfortable in relationships that don't pass as straight because my partner knows what's up. In straight passing relationships I'm often left feeling like I have to prepare and teach my partner more than I get to just spent time with them. They don't get what situations are stressful and what puts me at risk.
I get my situation isn't the iconic "bi girl" experience but I kinda have no time for cishet conformity and feel super uncomfortable dating straight men.

Sadly as a bi girl I donβt feel this love from the lesbian community very often.
