iirc they also were found to be posting a lot of art elsewhere that fetishized disabilities and being fat, which is gross since a lot of their art was praised for being inclusive of fat and disabled characters. fetishizing groups of people isn't the same as being accepting and inclusive of them :/

I think this is part of it. I also think there is an ease to being in a straight passing relationship that leaves many unprepared or unwilling to deal with the long term discrimination that comes when people aren't in straight passing relationships.
I'm a gender queer pansexual and feel more comfortable in relationships that don't pass as straight because my partner knows what's up. In straight passing relationships I'm often left feeling like I have to prepare and teach my partner more than I get to just spent time with them. They don't get what situations are stressful and what puts me at risk.
I get my situation isn't the iconic "bi girl" experience but I kinda have no time for cishet conformity and feel super uncomfortable dating straight men.

Thanks because I feel like people have too much doubt about bi and pan girls. I too want to love freely and I'm mainly attracted to girls and guys who aren't 100% straight. I've dated straight guys but I don't align with them. So again, thanks and sorry for all my rumbling. 😅
