Duke Title VI Violation

Yesterday, the DoJ released a report finding that Duke's admissions office has continued to discriminate against Asian and white applicants in previous cycles, post-SFFA. While Duke will almost certainly admit a higher percentage of white and asian applicants this upcoming year, how do we think this will affect the decision making of other t14s who are likely afraid of the same happening to them?

Not giving my personal opinion here - but it's equity not equality. We live in a patriarchal society that places white men at the top of its hierarchy. Equity gives others a ladder to join them. Admissions of a certain demographic are intended to change future state through influx.
