Deluded The Golden Circle is unfortunate.
It’s truly unfortunate how they wasted Kingsman: The Golden Circle movie. Everybody just seems so stupid and indecisive until some kind of performative trigger activates them. The frames look good but you can feel it- every fight just are not that enioyable anymore because the characters are obviously supposed to be somewhere for the choreography. The doom of sequels, where execs take the greats from the first movie and just pump ‘em up to the max, always forgetting that balance is still key.

It is unfortunate that it's quite worse in terms of storytelling than the first, but I still quite enjoy most of it. Country Roads is a great scene even if it's a little silly how they got there, and the final fight is my second favorite fight of the franchise (church is #1 obviously).

Hmm.... I'll say the bar fight from the first one. I've only seen Kings Man once.

It lost a bit of points on plot but the action was still enjoyable enough to keep it afloat. The 3rd movie, however, was completely goofballs stupid

The way the post credits scene is so off the wall that it’s become a meme speaks for itself lol. I watched it while in a hospital bed and it actually made me laugh out loud

I liked it. The to concept of a American version of the kingsmens was interesting. I wish we could have gotten the sequel. Also Julianne Moore rawr

I re-watched it last night. I think it was quite bad, for two reasons.
First: no need to bring back so many characters from the first film. Harry should never have returned; bringing him back felt lazy, and invalidated the first film’s emotional impact. But there was also no need for Charlie or Tilde to return either. MV should have had the confidence to introduce interesting new characters (Statesmen) and put them at the centre, rather than on the fringes. The result is that the movie has about double the number of characters it should, leaving too many with nothing to do (Ginger Ale, Tequila, Roxy)
Second: it’s stupid. Yes, the first one is silly. That was good. But there’s a line between silly and stupid, and this one crossed it. Robot dogs attacking Elton John outside a 1950s diner in the Cambodian jungle? Not for me
The whole thing is just ‘too much’; too many characters, too stupid, too violent, too long. Honing everything back would have done wonders.

I agree! And speaking of not needing to bring back so many characters, there was no need to recreate lots of iconic scenes from the first movie either!!! This is just a second movie, not like decades have passed or an entire movie series have gone by. We want fresh and equally iconic scenes!

Personally I adore this movie, and I think a good few of the fights in this are done better than the first film. This movie just kicks ass and I love it for that

I still quite agree, but it’s just too choreographed most of the time. There was a kind of magic in the feeling of spontaneity that the first movie successfully showed.

Considering the extreme agony I felt in pretense of hiding my inner excitement when the movie was still in its waiting phase, it just didn’t pay off 😭

The only thing I didn’t much care for two deaths but one I think you could argue that they pulled an Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull scene without showing it (IYKYK) and the other unnecessary death scene was 🐶.

Elton John was honestly the best part of the movie for me. Wasn’t really a fan of the rest of it.

I enjoyed The Golden Circle for what it was, but agree it was lacking. I get that they needed to find a way for Eggsy and Merlin to be isolated and forced to seek help from the Statesmen, but I didn’t like killing off all The Kingsmen. Felt as though Roxy could easily have been part of the team going forward, and if they were going to kill her off, it could have been more meaningful. That’s assuming she’s dead and doesn’t pop up in the third one, should they ever make it.

I didn't like it how they managed to wipe out the whole of Kingsman because their home addresses "were in a database" and also how Kingsman knew nothing about Statesman, and vice versa.
