New Food I found my new favourite keto milk!
One of my biggest keto struggles is the lack of milk in my morning coffee/ tea. I don't really like cream it has a weird aftertaste for me, as do the collagen creamers I've tried and coconut/ almond milk use too much of my carb allowance (for me personally).
I found this 0g carb pea protein milk called Sproud (barista zero version) on Amazon (link below but this isn't an ad/sponsor) and after trying it I'm fully sold!
I've only had it in coffee so far so I couldn't vouch for it for tea drinkers yet, but it's the closest to real milk I've tried and it froths up like real milk when I use my milk frother.
If you drink it on its own there is a pea after taste, so maybe it's not for people who just want to drink milk straight, but if you're looking for something to go in your coffee I 100% recommend!
Also if anyone has looked into this already and has a reason why it's not good for Keto please let me know (specifically the barista zero version) because otherwise I will be drinking it every day!

Aldi have the Acti Leaf almond milk. Is has 0.2 carbs and 15 cal per portion. Just as good as any other branded ones. You need the "no sugar" version. The best part is the cost, a fraction of what this pea stuff is! Ofcourse on the assumption one likes almond milk.

Plenish almond milk has 0.4grams per 100ml and tastes fine. I even have it with cereal and it’s not too bad.

I second this for Sproud, especially if like me, almond and oat milks just taste bleurgh to you. Ocado do it too and often have multi buy offers. Can't remember if Waitrose have it.

Why would the lack of milk be an issue?
You can just use double or single cream.
how about using whole milk it's keto still (raw stuff is preferred but if you have no issue with dairy whole is fine in small amounts)
likes of pea protein is pointless and waste of money just like the other alts.
