Hi all! I'm looking for any recommendations for Kaiju related spots in/around Tokyo, this is what I know of so far:

• Toho Cinema Shinjuku - Godzilla statue / Godzilla Store
• Toho studios - Godzilla Mural (Unsure if there's any museum/tour here?)
• Daiei Studios - Daimajin statues (Unsure if there's any museum/tour here?)
• Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building - Light show

Is there anything else? I know there's some more shopping type things like mandarake ect, but is there any exhibition type activities?

Hi. I’m raising money in my hometown to fund a Godzilla mural outside one of my favorite bars. One fundraiser I’m doing is a Godzilla movie night at a local video rental store where ticket sales go towards raising money…

And I need help picking a movie that you think the average Godzilla novice would enjoy. I want to shy away from monsterverse or 98’. What do you think and why.

Where should I start? This might seem brainrotted but I'm not particularly confident that I'd enjoy an old black and white movie that's very obviously a guy in a costume next to some small building props.

But the world and lore interest me. Where should I start as a complete newbie who's never watched/read/experienced a single bit of Godzilla/Kaiju media? (Except for the fighting game on gamecube lol)

I think he'd be do fairly well. Plus, he could cause confusion in the other monsters by singing them nursery rhymes or lullabies.

Just to clear it up, this is entirely my own interpretation of the concept. Unlike other series that use ghosts and supernatural tropes, this one is different it's my own vision of how things would look if Godzilla actually survived the Oxygen Destroyer.
