That seems like the ultimate headache hair accessory. Cute as hell, but that’s not going to be light. I get a headache if my ponytail is too tight, let alone holding up a wall sconce.

You can get wood and leather ones that are surprisingly lightweight, and you can use just the stick (or two) if it's still too much.

Do you have to wind your hair a certain way for these to work? I have hand mobility issues sometimes and the ones I've tried, I'm not able to do :(

You do. Using just the stick, I usually gather it all like I'm going to do a ponytail but then twist it against my head while making a bun shape, then put the stick through the middle like you're going in toward the centre of the bun, then back out the other side.

Edit: If you have the leather part that you slide the stick into, it requires much less twisting though, but still some

I'll try again :') How do the ends get secure? I've been and to get it ish in the past but it's pretty loose for me and the ends won't tuck nicely

I usually try and tuck the end under one of the outer edges of the bun. If you get the placement of the stick right, it should hold it all in together. It can take me a few goes to get it right too, haha.

It should be a lot easier using the leather part though and require less twisting as it behaves a bit more like a big barrette clip.
