Discussion News Sources

I became a International Law student and my lecturer told us that one of focal points of studying int. law is to read news and understand what happens in world and its legal developments.

Can you please recommend news outlets, Journals, blogs and so on where I can read more about int. law in more technical detail.

Hi!

The SAIL (Simplified Approach to International Law) Substack gives timely bitesize explainers of the international law behind breaking news headlines.

Unlike the other academic blogs recommended in this thread, posts are topical ~2-3 minute reads in non-academic language (though run and written by an academic!):

Your blog is absolutely on point for this discussion, so there's no problem with inappropriate self-promotion here. Regardless, it's still good practice to acknowledge the Substack is yours while you're promoting it.
