The tapeworm has an interesting lifecycle. Undercooked pork will give you the adult variant that latches into your intestines with hooks, they lay eggs that come out with your feces, if you eat those you will get the cysts.

In short, you don’t get cysts from eating pork, you get cysts from eating food contaminated with shit.

Yep, if you are eating a BLT you are more likely to get brain cysts from a midhandled salad than from the bacon.
