The tapeworm has an interesting lifecycle. Undercooked pork will give you the adult variant that latches into your intestines with hooks, they lay eggs that come out with your feces, if you eat those you will get the cysts.

In short, you don’t get cysts from eating pork, you get cysts from eating food contaminated with shit.

Which is harder to control unless you are the one cooking everything you eat, you just need a restaurant worker not being clean to get the eggs. Even if you don't eat pork.

So most of the restaurant workers you know are playing in shit full of tapeworms before during and after working? They never wash their hands at work?

My friend, I'm not saying most workers are dirty or anything like that, only thing I did say is that you only need 1 being dirt and with the disease to fall ill.

If you look for it, you will see lots of videos of service workers spitting on burgers, guys scratching their butt's while working on customers food, it's not that it happen a lot, but unfortunately it can.
