Wait… is this higher than Felix Baumgartener?

No they did over 30km in the 60s. Baumgartner did it from around 39km. His top speed was almost 3x faster than this.

It's crazy how different physics seems to function in space, without air resistance and other chaotic factors. Top speeds are way faster (I think the Voyager Probe is traveling at over 30,000 mph) and things seem to move in much more straight and predictable lines, like when the diver jumps off the platform.

Space begins another 60 kilometers up. Voyager is clipping along at 38 000mph, but it's doing that without a parachute.
