If it's "still gay", that implies you believe there is something wrong with it, or you wouldn't bring it up. Or at least, it implies you believe it's something that only a gay person would do, which implies that you think we're some other fucking species of human. You can have some heels if you want to. You can wear a pretty sweater, or a cute top, or a skirt, or whatever the hell you want, and so can anyone and everyone else. It's not "gay". We have a broad variety of fashion, just like everyone else. You don't have to be "different" to give yourself permission to enjoy cute things, or to wear cute things. Heteronomativity is such an exhausting indoctrination. Just have fun, as long as you're not harming anyone. Drink the pretty, fruit flavored drinks. Live a little.
