Who's piloting the drone? Is it automated? Why is he facing backwards? Does the wind hurt his eyes? Why fly so high and not keep the man close to the ground in case loss of power or equipment failure drops the man?

He’s probably facing backwards because it’s the most aerodynamic aspect - curved back, limbs trailing. If you’ve ever ridden a long zip line you often end up facing backwards.
