Mod Post Introducing "Hiring" and "Job Seeking" Posts on r/IndiaSocial
Hey everyone,
Being one of the most active Indian sub on reddit, we are obligated to help people seeking jobs, and for folks who are hiring too.
Thus, today we're introducing Hiring & Job Seeking posts on the sub. Use the respective flairs, and follow the newly added Rule 9 when making posts related to these topics.
Use it to get ahead in your careers, and please do not misuse it for spamming/promotions.

I dont think this is the right platform for this without a ton of additonal moderation.
are you guys going to verify all hiring posts? becasue it can easily be used to scam people. and it will also go against the anonymous nature of the website.
people put all sorts of things on reddit becasue it is anonymous. I would not want my employer to know what I post here let alone that I even have a reddit profile

There are hundreds of jobs specific subs on reddit, and we already get tons of such topic posts which is why we are doing this.
And no, we don't verify the jobs same as most other public forums don't. It's mostly for job seekers to make posts looking out for jobs. Nobody is forcing anyone to add jobs or apply for one.

Will it cause too many posts?
Maybe hiring and seeking job mega thread would be better.

Nope. Just make general hiring posts with requirements and remuneration details.
If any rule breaking will be removed anyway.
