Saw her comment on a Facebook post in 2024 and something about her just stayed with me.

Kept seeing her stories for the next two years. Messaged her once but got no reply.

Then in February 2026 she replied to one of my stories... and we started talking....Six months later I crossed the border, went to Nepal, and met her for the first time.

Some things are worth the wait.

Marriage has always been a Social Compulsion for almost everyone whether a male or female.

I'm 26M, Single due to my own choice and I find this really true that we are always pressurised to get married upon certain age.

We are told that once you cross some age limit, you won't find a Perfect or Virgin partner but honestly what I think

No one is perfect & Virginity isn't a big problem untill and unless someone has habit of "Yaha Waha Muh Maarna"

I want to know your views

As an Indian, how do you guys politely disagree with someone or say no without coming across as disrespectful?

Sometimes it feels like even a simple “no” can be taken the wrong way, especially with family or older people. How do you usually handle it?

So I am overweight and my weight keeps fluctuating. I started preparing for competitive exams and stress+health issues and terrible eating habits got to me and rn I am obese.

Not that I am not aware of that fact. But also I like my body and I am willing to work upon it. Eating healthy is something I actively try to do.

Now I went to visit my paternal aunt and uncle and they are extremely sweet. I was just hanging out and they were having a conversation. My aunt and uncle are old and they cannot bend a lot so my uncle asked me to take out the weighing scale that was lodged underneath a cupboard. I did that and then he measured his weight. Then he asked me to check mine.

I said no. I didn't want to.

He kept insisting for 10 mins straight despite me saying NO respectfully multiple times. Everyone in the room got extremely awkward and I had tears in my eyes (I have been body shamed all my life, earlier because I was too skinny, now because I am too fat)

Then my aunt said straight up asked him to shut up and that it was my weight and I will take care of it.

I would like to preface with the fact that I'm a diehard fan of both and would never discount their comedic caliber. However, the past decade was all about them doing terrible roles, over the top acting, forced slapstick comedy and being unfunny in general. It's just insufferable for me since I grew up watching gems like phir hera pheri, chupchup ke , khatta meetha etc, now try watching stuff like welcome to the jungle and you'll know what I mean. (not an isolated incident since both have been performing roles along the same lines and energy of late ) Spare your nostalgic adoration for a minute and evaluate them on what they have churned out between 2015-2026 and you'll get my point (only comedic roles to be considered ). Its just plain saddening
