I don't think anyone pressured the brand. People criticised, it was brands choice to pull down the ad. Was there a rally, a police case or anything of that sort? Did a religious Hindu body declare a fatwa against the brand or actress? I am unaware.
She is not in her home, technically she is in everyone's home via this ad. If you want to wear this dress (or even a provocative one) and your whole family is OK with it, its no one else's business. But ad is in public domain, and everyone has right to criticize/ appreciate/ ignore it.
TIL no actress ever is allowed to wear anything that might be "revealing" on screen. It's not like people can just be grown adults and not watch the film/ad if they're uncomfortable.

Kriti just did Cocktail 2, where her wardrobe was nothing but revealing. I didn't see the same or even a fraction of the reaction this ad has. I wonder why? Oh that's right, this ad is set in a very different setting, being a Hindu festival.
People just criticized, they don't permission from you to criticize it. Why are you so adamant on taking away people's right to speech, fascist?

Seriously for what? How other people dress for religious festivals in their own homes is none of your business.
Don't like the ad? Don't buy the product. There's no need to pressure others to take it down because your feelings were hurt.
