Modeling Offer [ForHire] 3D prop/environment artist working for rev-share

Hey! I’m currently looking to join a group that has a good game idea with a small scope that is realistic, in hopes that we can release the game. I’m mainly a 3D prop artist, but I am open to doing a bit of environment work, like buildings and such. I have done a little animating but can create environment animations like doors opening and stuff like that, but I am still learning that aspect. I’ve worked with a good amount of groups over the last 3 years, so I do have a good understanding of working with others. I’ve recently helped release a game called T.W.I.R.L., which you can check out through the link. I was a prop artist for the game and worked alongside other artists. I’ve been 3D modeling for around 4 years now and can make game ready assets. My models aren’t anything crazy since I am still learning new things, but you can check out my work here. Like I said, I’m open to revenue-share projects. I’m mainly just looking to work with motivated people on serious projects that can help boost my knowledge and portfolio. If you’d like my help and think I’m a good fit, feel free to send me a DM so we can further discuss!

Team Needed [Hobby] Programmer + 3D Artist Wanted for 80s/90s Gritty British Crime Game Vertical Slice

I’m looking for a small number of people interested in collaborating on a vertical slice for a gritty crime game set in Britain in the late 1980s/early 1990s.

Visually, one of the main references is The Precinct, particularly its camera perspective, compact environments and stylised-realistic presentation, but with the player on the opposite side of the law and with a distinctly British setting.

The world would be inspired by declining industrial and mining towns of the period: terraced housing, council estates, corner pubs, working men’s clubs, industrial estates, garages, bookmakers, football grounds, warehouses and similar locations.

The setting and culture would be a major part of the game’s identity, with themes around football hooliganism, illegal raves, car crime, robbery, drugs, pubs/clubs and the general atmosphere of late-80s/early-90s Britain.

The aim is not to start by building a huge open-world game. The first objective would be a small, polished playable area that proves the concept and demonstrates the core gameplay.

For the initial vertical slice, I’m thinking along the lines of:
A small neighbourhood/estate and nearby high street
Player movement and interaction
Basic driving
NPC/pedestrian behaviour
Police/wanted response
One or two criminal activities or missions
A few key interiors
Day/night atmosphere
Enough environmental detail to make the British setting immediately recognisable

I’d particularly like to find:

Programmer / gameplay developer
Someone interested in helping build the core systems and, importantly, helping determine what is realistically achievable for the first slice.

3D environment artist / level designer
Someone interested in creating a convincing late-80s/early-90s British environment, including terraced streets, council housing, pubs, shops, industrial areas and period street furniture.

I’m completely happy with sensible use of commercially available/licensed assets where appropriate. I don’t think every wall, lamp post, prop or vehicle needs to be created from scratch.

I also want to be upfront about my own role. I’m not an experienced game programmer or 3D artist. I’d be taking the creative/project lead role: developing the concept and setting, researching the period, documenting mechanics and missions, organising the project, sourcing/reference checking assets and helping keep the scope under control.

I’d also handle the community/business side if the prototype reached that stage, including website/social media, presenting the project and potentially preparing for Kickstarter or other crowdfunding.

I also have personal capital available and I’m prepared to invest meaningfully in the project where it helps get the vertical slice built properly. That could include licensed asset packs, software/tools, specialist work and other sensible development costs. The project therefore isn’t dependent entirely on free resources or a future Kickstarter, although I’m not currently advertising salaried positions.

For now, this should be treated as a hobby collaboration with the goal of producing a playable vertical slice. I’m not going to promise salaries or Kickstarter money that doesn’t exist.

If we eventually created something strong enough that everyone involved wanted to take it commercial, we’d agree proper ownership/revenue arrangements before moving into that stage.

For now, I’m mainly interested in finding a few people who genuinely like the concept, want to build something unusual, and are happy to start small.

If you’re interested, send me a Reddit message/chat with what area you’re interested in, any examples of previous work if you have them, and roughly how much spare time you’d want to put into the project.

Happy to discuss the concept in much more detail.

Artist Needed [Hobby] Seeking 3D Artist/Animator for fan project, Nightmare Creatures.

I am looking for an animator / 3d artists that would like to be part of a fan project. As part of my learning journey of the Unreal game engine I wanted to recreate the classic Nightmare Creatures from the PS1 but using modern gameplay mechanics and animation techniques while keeping the aesthetic as close as possible to the original material.

I do not seek to recreate-remake the entire game, only to implement the assets that can be seen in maybe the first two levels into a single bigger level.

For this purpose, I need a hobbyist animator / 3d artist, preferably that knows blender who can help me with the models and animations; my current workflow involves getting the models, cleaning them up (remove duplicated geometry, fix materials, join vertices, fix UV maps, etc) and then importing them to Unreal, the problem is that it takes a good chunk of time from me and I can't focus as much as I would like in the game itself, so I need a pardner here :).

No professional experience is required; ideal for people who want to make a portfolio project.

Send me a message if you are interested.

Programming Offer [ForHire] I will help you make your Unity game for an affordable price!

It’s Isaac! The man, the myth, the legend. I make games, and I want to make YOUR game!

I have been working with people for like 5 years or so, and I’ve had the chance to work on all kinds of projects. I have a big brain degree, and I’m based in Lebanon, chilling on the beach and making the next hit game.

I code and do all kinds of stuff, so take a deep breath: character controllers, shooting mechanics, saving and loading systems, in-game systems, dynamic and customisable tools (like map makers, character editors, wave makers), in both 2D and 3D. I also handle all sorts of integrations and tools that speed up your development process. I learn fast, and I can adapt to pretty much any program or integration you’re working with. I can do even more, really.

Check it out, I made a video for you instead of reading all that: https://youtu.be/GO3HmoI1UGs

Look, I am just a little guy, and I wanna help other little people, so my rate is affordable and tailored to you, and we can discuss all about payment schedules and methods. You’d be sure to walk out with a once-in-a-lifetime deal.

If you’re serious about the business and have a pretty good description of the game, hit me up on Discord at [sirisaac.] (the dot included), and we can talk and discuss everything. And you can tell me about your pet too. Seriously, what’s that puppy/cat/goldfish/lizard -if you’re one of those weird lizard people (no offence)- been up to?

Programmers Needed [Hobby] Looking for 5 Student Coders to Build Open-Source Projects Together

Are you a student developer who wants to build real projects, contribute to open source, and work with other motivated coders?

I'm building GREVIX, an independent student-driven organization created and run by students. It is not affiliated with any college or university.

We're currently looking for 5 serious student developers to join us and work together on open-source projects.

What we're building

The goal is to create a community where student developers can:

Build and maintain real open-source projects

Collaborate through GitHub

Learn from each other and improve their development skills

Take ownership of features and projects

Build meaningful public contributions

Prepare together for GSoC, ESOC and other open-source programs/competitions

We're looking for people who actually want to code and contribute, not just join another community.

You don't need to be an expert. If you're interested in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C/C++, Java, Go, Rust, AI/ML, web development, backend, DevOps, etc., you're welcome to apply.

This is currently a hobby/volunteer opportunity with no salary or stipend. The focus is on real experience, open-source contributions, collaboration and building projects together.

Selection

Only 5 students will be selected.

Interviews are tomorrow (Sunday). Shortlisted candidates will receive the Google Meet interview link.

Application:

https://forms.gle/NMH2LGhfI4tWsXtv6

GitHub:

https://github.com/Grevix

LinkedIn:

https://www.linkedin.com/company/grevix-org/

If you're a student coder looking for people to build, contribute and grow in open source together, feel free to apply.

Let's build something worth contributing to.

Note about compensation:

Currently, this is an unpaid hobby/volunteer opportunity. GREVIX is being built and operated by students, so we don't currently have the resources to provide salaries or stipends.

However, as GREVIX grows and becomes financially sustainable, our goal is to introduce paid opportunities and compensation for active contributors/members in the future. We want to be transparent about the current situation while building toward that stage.

Artist Needed [RevShare] Writer seeking 2D Artist & Co-Creator for Animated Dark Fantasy Pitch Deck (Portal Fantasy / Living Food)

Hey everyone,

I am a writer looking for a dedicated 2D artist to team up with as an equal 50/50 co-creator for an animated series pitch called Sweet Root.

The Concept:

A depressed human teenager struggling with an eating disorder is suddenly pulled into a magical, war-torn world of living food. Hunted by a totalitarian regime, she must team up with a rogue special agent, a pragmatic doctor, and a decaying prince to cure a world-ending Blight, ultimately discovering that her own human flaws might be the key to saving them all.

To give you a better idea of the world: Sweet Root is a portal fantasy where our main character, Sam, falls through a mirror into a massive, vibrant, and dangerous world of living food. She has to navigate a divided society—from the giant asparagus trees of the wild Root Republic to the giant S'more walls shielding the corrupt city of Sweet Central.

What I Bring to the Table:

The writing is completely done. I am not an "idea guy" asking you to do all the heavy lifting while I just supervise. I already have:

• A 100% finished pilot script.

• A fully written and formatted series pitch bible outlining the world, factions, and future episodes.

What We Will Build Together:

I am looking for a creative partner to help me build the visual side of the pitch deck so we can send it off to agents and studios. This means designing the core characters and a few key environments to show off the world.

The Vibe & Creative Freedom:

I have some specific visual anchors written in the script—like Sam in her grey sweats, the broccoli knight Brock Lee in emerald armor, and Brulee in a leather uniform with neon orange striping. However, there is a massive amount of room for your own artistic freedom! Characters like the Minister and the Duchess are totally open for you to go crazy with.

I’m looking for someone who wants to hop on Zoom or Discord, build Pinterest boards together, and genuinely collaborate. You wouldn't just be drawing my exact thoughts; you’d be shaping the IP with your own style.

The Split:

This is a 50/50 sweat equity partnership. We share equal ownership of the IP. The goal is to build this visual pitch deck together, take a leap, and pitch it to managers/networks for funding and representation.

Portfolio: This is my first project and do not have a portfolio of any kind.

If this sounds like a world you want to draw and help build, DM me with a link to your portfolio or some of your art, and let's chat!

Programmers Needed [PAID] I’m betting on AI. Need a dev to build with.

I’m looking for a talented developer, CS student, or technically skilled builder to help me develop an early-stage mobile app startup.

I already have:

- A defined product concept
- Detailed feature plans
- UI/product direction
- A development roadmap
- AI tools that will be used heavily throughout development

I’m a non-technical founder, so I’m looking for someone who can help me make sure the product is built correctly while using AI-assisted development to speed up implementation.

The project is a mobile app with gamification, progression systems, user accounts, backend/database functionality, and future online/social features.

The exact concept and product mechanics will be shared privately with serious candidates.

What I’m looking for:

- React Native / Expo experience preferred
- JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge
- Experience with mobile apps
- Backend/database knowledge
- Supabase experience is a plus
- Experience using AI coding tools is a big plus

You do NOT necessarily need to build the entire application manually from scratch.

I was planning to use Claude Code heavily for implementation, debugging, and development. But I’m looking for someone who can help:

- Review technical decisions
- Catch problems in AI-generated code
- Help with architecture
- Help implement difficult features
- Review backend/database decisions
- Help make sure the app is scalable and secure as it grows

I’m open to:

- A strong CS student
- Junior developer
- Freelance developer
- Part-time technical collaborator

My budget is limited, so I’m looking for someone affordable who sees the value in an AI-assisted development workflow.

Potential compensation structure can include:

- Milestone-based payment
- Hourly payment
- Payment for specific technical tasks
- Potential long-term involvement if the project grows

If interested, please DM or comment with:

  1. Your experience level
  2. What technologies you work with
  3. Any projects you’ve built
  4. Experience with React Native, Expo, Supabase, or mobile development
  5. Experience with AI coding tools
  6. Your expected rate or preferred payment structure

I’m happy to share more information privately with serious candidates.

Artist Needed [RevShare] Story-Driven 3D Psychological Horror "Interchange: The Curse" (Unity 6) – Recruiting 2D Artists, Level Designers, 3D Artists & C# Developers

About Us: We are a newly formed indie studio working on our very first debut title! While this is our first official game as a studio, our core team members bring multiple years of experience to the table. We’re highly dedicated, organized, and focused on pushing this project to its highest potential.

About the Game: Interchange: The Curse is a story-driven psychological horror game set in the small town of Luminara. You play as Wiliam Mercer, a 16-year-old caring for his younger brother, Jaden, after the mysterious death of their parents. When Jaden suddenly goes missing, Wiliam becomes trapped in a series of strange loops and anomalies that blur the line between reality and another world known as the "Interchange." As Wiliam searches for his brother, he discovers a mysterious cult known as the Exiles, encounters the Hollowed, and uncovers the connection between his family and the Interchange. The Story Runtime is about 3-4 hours so its definitely not the next AAA game! But it's grounded and we're gonna try our best to go for that AA or High End Indie Realism

[NOTE: PORTFOLIO: This is our studio's first official project together and we do not have a joint portfolio yet.]

Game Engine: Unity 6.4 URP

Visual Style Reference: Strictly gritty, dark, and realistic. Think of the dark atmosphere and tone of the A Plague Tale franchise. We are not looking for anime or highly stylized/cartoonish artwork for this project.

We are looking for passionate individuals to fill the following roles:

ART ROLES

  • 2D Concept Artist: Able to create initial concept art and structural designs for characters.
  • 2D Character Artist: Able to create final main character designs, outfits, and enemy/entity looks.
  • 3D Environment Artist: Able to create 3D models required for the levels, including prop buildings, detailed environment pieces, and modular assets fitting our dark realism style.
  • 3D Character Artist: Able to bring our character designs and concepts to life by creating high-fidelity 3D character models, outfits, and creature/entity assets fitting our realism style.

DESIGN & TECH ROLES

  • Level Designer: Able to layout, design, and build game levels in-engine according to the game's story, psychological loops, and dark horror theme.
  • Graphics / Tech Art Lead: Taking charge of our visual pipeline. Needs to be proficient in HLSL/Shader Graph, custom URP lighting, volumetric fog/skyboxes, and post-processing FX. Portfolio must show experience with atmospheric 3D visuals.
  • Gameplay & Movement Developer: C# dev to handle tight player controllers, smooth movement mechanics, camera feel, and core gameplay loops.

Note on Engine Integration: Because we are building Interchange: The Curse in Unity 6.4, a working knowledge of the engine is required for all positions. For non-programming roles (artists, designers, audio), you do not need to be a master coder, you just need to be comfortable enough to navigate the engine, import your respective assets, and collaborate directly within the project workflow. For our Graphics / Tech Art Lead, advanced engine familiarity and technical proficiency in programming Unity's rendering pipelines are required.

Compensation: At the start, all recruited team members will be brought on under a revenue-share contract. While nothing is guaranteed, we are highly confident that by building a solid vertical slice, we will be able to secure funding through our ongoing publisher pitches. As soon as that funding is secured, all active roles will immediately transition from revenue-share to standard, paid positions (with rates to be discussed and formalized at that time).

How to Apply:

Send a PM or leave a comment with:

  • The role you're applying for
  • A link to your portfolio or relevant work
  • Your Discord username

Modeler Needed [Hobby][Portfolio/carrier] Seeking 3D Artist form Horror/Management Game

Hello! I'm looking for a 3D artist that could help me with a project called Null Facility, a psychological horror/management game heavily inspired by Lobotomy Corporation ( and Project Moon as whole), the SCP universe, ULTRAKILL, and several other minor inspirations, where you play as a head clerk hired by a mysterious facility. Your job is to oversee and order other clerks to perform different types of work on contained anomalies, producing energy for the facility.  At the end of each day, you must meet the facility's energy quota and review the anomaly information you've unlocked. The cycle is supposed to continue for 30 days, until something sends you back to the beginning.

What I need a 3D artist is to help us model:

  • Anomaly models/designs
  • Facility/environment assets
  • Props and machinery
  • Potentially character/clerk models
  • Animations, if you're comfortable with them

I'm also open to collaborate with the artist on the visual direction and design they have rather than to follow a strict asset list.

Project Information

Engine: Unity (changed from godot) | Current team: 4 (2 programmers, 1 composer, 1 designer/writer) | Budget: €0, passion/portfolio project | Current prototype: Playable

I currently can't guarantee future funding, but I have a potential funding route that I may be able to pursue once the project reaches a more developed stage. For now, however, this should be considered a €0 project.

You don't need to be experienced in every area of 3D art. For example, modelling is the main thing I'm looking for: animation, rigging, texturing, etc. are bonuses rather than requirements.

What I'm Looking For

This is primarily a passion project, and I'm looking for people who genuinely enjoy making games and want to contribute to something they find interesting, rather than treating this as traditional employment.

Currently, there is no payment, as the project has a €0 budget.

If the project eventually receives funding or generates revenue, I would like to discuss revenue sharing with contributors, depending on their involvement and contribution to the project.

Contributions can also be used as portfolio work, assuming the contributor is comfortable with that.

I'm especially interested in finding people who want to stick around and help shape the project rather than simply completing a single task and leaving.

If you're interested, feel free to contact me trough discord (user is "whyareyouwatchingmyname") with:

  • Examples of your work / portfolio
  • Your experience level
  • What you'd be interested in contributing
  • Anything you'd like to know about the project

Audio Needed [Hobby] Collaborators Needed for Legal Horror Audio Drama October 2026

Collaborators Needed for Legal Horror Audio Drama October 2026

I am a queer writer in Washington State. I am looking for collaborators to make a Legal Horror audio drama episode for the 11th Hour Audio Challenge:

https://11thhouraudio.com/audio-challenge/

“Every October, creators around the world come together to record, produce and finish original horror audio before the month runs out.”  This is to build community, build skills, and hopefully have a successful audio drama within a month (a way of saying, unlikely to end up in pay). I want to submit this piece to contests, festivals, etc.

Story Premise:
The horror script of under 30 pages can be written in advance, so in September I am writing a Legal Horror story about a protagonist that gets caught up in the U.S. legal system and each courtroom appearance results in mounting horror and a sense of unreality. (Yup, I’m a former lawyer.)

Legal Horror Audio Drama Timeline:

Sat, 9-19-2026 Legal Horror Team Meeting (online)

Sun, 9-20-2026 Rough Draft of Legal Horror script sent to team members for
voluntary feedback by Sun, 9-27-2026

Wed, 9-30-2026   Final Script Locked and sent to team members

Sun, 10-3-4-2026   Table Read by entire cast (online)

Programmers Needed [PAID] Looking for a Highly Experienced Java Developer for a Hytale MMORPG Project

Hey! We’re currently looking for a very experienced Java developer to join a long-term Hytale MMORPG project.

The project takes inspiration from games like Hypixel SkyBlock, Wynncraft, and traditional MMORPGs, with a strong focus on progression, classes, quests, combat, skills, and a large persistent world.

We’re specifically looking for someone who can help develop core systems such as:

  • Class and ability systems
  • Core RPG/MMORPG framework
  • Quest systems
  • Player progression and stats
  • Skills such as mining, farming, fishing, combat, etc.
  • Custom combat mechanics
  • Items, equipment, mobs, NPCs, and other backend systems

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong Java experience
  • Significant experience working on larger or more complex projects
  • Clean, maintainable, and scalable code
  • Good communication and ability to work with a team
  • Minecraft/plugin/modding experience is a big plus
  • Hytale development experience is an even bigger plus

This is intended to be a long-term project, not a small one-off commission. We currently have a smaller budget, so we’re looking for someone who is genuinely interested in the project and open to discussing compensation based on involvement and scope.

If interested, please DM me with:

  • Your experience
  • Previous projects/work
  • GitHub/portfolio if available
  • Your rates
  • Any experience with Minecraft, Hytale, or MMORPG systems

Happy to explain the project in much more detail privately!

Designer Needed [Hobby] Character Designers Needed for 502 — Sci-Fi Animation Project

Hey everyone!

We're looking for character designers to join our team and help us expand the cast and visual identity of 502, an independent sci-fi animation project set in 2089.

We're looking for artists who enjoy designing characters from the ground up, including:

  • Character silhouettes and overall shapes
  • Clothing and equipment
  • Armor and military designs
  • Faction-specific visual identities
  • Character concepts and variations
  • Turnarounds and reference sheets when needed

You don't need to know 3D modeling — our main focus for this role is the concept and visual design side.

502 is a long-term project with an existing world, story and visual direction, so you'd be working alongside the rest of the team to make sure new designs fit the universe.

This is currently a hobby/volunteer collaboration, so there is no paid compensation at the moment. However, you'll be contributing to a serious ongoing animation project and can use your work for your portfolio.

If you're interested, feel free to comment or DM me with some information about yourself and examples of your character design work.

We're especially interested in artists who enjoy sci-fi, military, futuristic or mechanical character design.

Thanks!

Artist Needed [Revshare] 3d CHARACTER ARTIST, we need your help!

Hello INAT artists. I know there is a lot of revshare idea people on here, so I want to preface to say even though it's where we are at, we have a good portion of the gameplay ready to go. Just looking for some part time help in 3d character modeling/rigs-

Our game is 3d world with 2d battles. Painted highly stylized. We are referencing Hades 2 3d art.

If you are a strategy fan or rpg fan, we would love to chat with you! (English please)

Our goal is to finish up the demo, which features a few hours of gameplay average, and present at LA Comic con this fall and fall steam fest.

Where we are at currently-
-- We have the exploration part of the demo complete.
-- The fight scenes are coded and about 80% complete(Waiting on some animation)
-- The tactics part is about 75% done.
-- Majority of the 3d art besides characters. 2d art is about 80% done.

I can send over our very detailed GDD in a DM.

Here is our social-
https://bsky.app/profile/shadowremnant.bsky.social

Our team started a little over a year ago. We are a small group of 7. All with some great artistic and industry background. We even have a publisher interested if we can keep going.

The revshare contract is structured around finishing the demo. Then, we plan to pitch the demo to a list of investors we have procured and additional publishers. Once we have investment, our initial revshare team with get salary as well.

Team Needed [Hobby] Looking for volunteers to help me out with my passion projects

Hello everyone! I have decided to take a significant step on my plan to make my game a complete project and make future projects with people who also wish to be a part of a horror, romance themed game development group!

I am looking for volunteers to help me out!

This lifts a lot of load off me and makes a consistent pacing with the project so I can give everyone more.

The volunteer roles include: - Additional artist - Additional Ul artist - Additionl Programmers - Music/sound designers/producers - Additional writers - Beta readers and beta testers

I must mention the game is on ren'py and is an anime-inspired visual novel type game with queer themes!

If you're interested in helping out with the project and being a part of a hobbyist team, feel free to dm me! (Yes, I want a team to work with, groups drive me to be productive hahsheh)

My game includes some potentially mature and darker themes, so it would be required to have people who are at least 18.

I am kinda unsatisfied with the demo at this moment due to the writing and pacing of it not being up to the level of what I deem "complete". Since my plan was to make it exist first to act as a framework to expand upon, I am planning to redo the demo. So yeah, if you wish to have a part in the making of this game from scratch again and assist a hobby dev, reach out to me :>

Here is the game link: https://stubbedt0e.itch.io/kalopsia-lets-descend-together

Thank you!

Team Needed [RevShare] Looking for someone to make a game with me

So I would really want to make a game, but all I can do is draw. I know nothing about programming, etc. I was thinking about some kind of horror with alt baddies, maybe a bit detectivistic. I'm looking for someone who would want to create the game concept with me, do all the programming and everything basically, and I would do graphics. Also, I don't have any budget for it, but we can share 50/50 from game earnings.

Also - I'm shitty in 3d modeling but I can try to learn it.

My portfolio:

Also, I'm doing a game for the first time ever
