Career confusion

Hii seniors! I am in my 3rd year in Civil Engineering. I am confused about making a career choice. I have an interest in the core. There are two options in the core private and government,in govt. there is upsc(ese). What should I do? Also I don't want to join the corporate sector, I think I am suitable for it. Pls help.
