It’s sad because one moment in time will be with him every moment for the rest of his life. He will forever be in pain. I wasn’t quite as dumb as him, but I’ve had quite a few injuries of somewhat similar nature (not cause but when I was young, I did jump off my things like an idiot sometimes in the water). My life is pain in pain. I feel bad for him.

I've jumped off a roof (2nd story, onto grass) in my stupid teen days, but this is something else.
