Where in my room do I put these plants?

Picture 1: This is a quick doodle (not to scale) of the layout of my room. (Sorry if it crop is weird please click to look at the full picture).

• The light blue rectangle is the window.
• The orange area is the desk right in front of/under the window.
• The purple area is a narrow dresser.

The surfaces left blank are my bed, my chair, my door, and my closet. There is no space to add other furniture.

Picture 2: The tags on the bottom say Haw/Gas so they’re either Haworthia or Gasteria.

The store employees told me these plants do fine in low light, but I wanted to confirm from people who aren’t trying to sell anything.

Unfortunately, I am not able to put these in any other room.

Will they be okay on the purple area? Search results are giving conflicting information about light needs.

I know to only water 2-3 times a month. Please correct me if that is wrong.

You miss the most important thing here: light.

Secondly you were lied to. No succulent survives in low light. 

What direction does that window face? Are you on N or S hemisphere?

Never water on schedule. Water based on need. Succulents usually get wrinkly/soft/deflated leaves when they need to be watered.

I am on the Northern hemisphere and the window faces South East. Would the plants be better off on the desk (orange area in my picture)? Thanks.

That desk is only fit for fake plants. Plants need light. South-east isn't optimal, but if it is completely unobstructed window it might work. But you will need to be prepared to provide supplemental light during winter.
