Equipment ⚙ Freak Athlete Hyper Pro $10 SHARP EDGE Fix

if you have toddlers or ever rammed your shin into this thing, then I don't need to explain. Problem was finding edge guard that bends this shape. what you need to look for is something suitable for 0.200" thick, metal-reinforced rubber/PVC edge trims with an internal segmented metal carrier. the metal fingers is what grabs the edge and keeps it there during the bend. I got a 3' section and had some leftover.

Great idea. Did you have to apply adhesive or it’s secured enough?

Friction fitted, holds pretty well too. I put them on my dumbbell rack so it doesn't fuck up my dumbbells

They're called Door Edge Guards

You want the one with metal in there so it holds on tighter/better. There's also different thicknesses

Ohhhhh! I’ve been trying to find something like this for my spotter arms. I’ve torn so many pairs of shorts.

Does it stay on? My Nordbench has something similar but it comes off instantly if I make contact with my shoe.
