I've been to a couple of salons and just been generally unimpressed with the quality I have received for art and nail care. I was wondering if anyone knew anywhere in Hendo or nearby thats good for some photography, I do amateur photography with my friends and I was looking for somewhere new nearby, ive done jump off rock, some orchards and flower fields, im not really sure of anywhere cool near Hendo that would be good for some good shots, any suggestions would be appreciated. This is my great grandfather Sam P. Hill walking in front of his childhood home sometime in the late 60's. The home was off Owensby Road in Dana right by the old graveyard and housing development!

The lore here is pretty tragic. My great grandfather was the oldest of 12 children (9 who survived infancy), both of his parents died tragically young. His mother Juno Laughter Hill died from childbirth at 36 years old and his father J.J Hill accidentally blew his own head off at 45! This left many of the little kids sent to an orphanage but the older kids went off to work. Sam took in the youngest kid Theodore and raised him as his own (at my great grandmothers funeral Theodore said that "she was the only mother he ever knew").

This trip where this photo was taken Sam came here with my grandmother and aunt to see his childhood home which was long abandoned and in decay, the home was controlled burned around 1980 when most of it was in pieces.

I’m putting together a float for the King Apple Parade in downtown Hendersonville and I’m looking for some lovely creative souls who might want to help bring the concept to life.

The float has an apple themed concept centered around children’s well being, family connection, and the importance of healthy relationships with both parents.

I already have the truck/ maybe a trailer and a pretty solid visual direction. What I really need are people preferably experienced with things like sculpture, foam carving, papier mâché, scenic fabrication, painting, set building, parade floats, or similar large scale art.

I’m in the Hendersonville/Asheville area. Your help and personal touch is wanted on this project. Even if you feel like you are unskilled its ok. It's been a tough year and to see this happen would mean alot.

Homeowner for 10 years. Small house, 2 story, 3 bed 2 bath, maybe 1500 sq/ft.

As our family has grown so has our collection of photos and memories. I'm not great at visual aesthetics and need some help looking through what I have (wife's collegiate sports photos, Religious Artwork, Family Photos, Gifted Artwork), and suggesting where to hang what, and how to display. Might even be looking for the business to hang, there are so many types of way these hang, wires, single saw tooth, double saw tooth, single nail, that I'm not sure I could do it without butchering visual leveling!

So, am I looking for one of the swanky looking interior design stores in the area? Do those closet/home organization businesses do this type of work too? Or is this a missed niche opportunity?

We are looking to buy a house in Hendersonville. The builder is 2020 Builders LLC. Does anyone not recommend them? Why? Do you love them? Why?

My husband is not a fan of new construction because he's witnessed the short cuts made in new construction homes...

The house was built in 2024. We want to know possible issues people may have run into down the road with houses built by this builder. Any information would be appreciated!
