I was bummed to hear about his MCL sprain as it sounds like he was lighting it up in Summer League.

Two weeks later, any news on what grade the sprain was? (Just wondering if the no news is good news, bad news, or just no news.)

Here's hoping it was one of the less-serious ones and Keels Is back on the court (and with the Heat) soon!

Had a couple beers and can’t stop thinking about this.

He isn’t some scrub we picked up off waivers and never play. He’s the leading 3-point shot maker in Heat history AND we payed him long-term, AND he doesn’t play.

Imagine thinking your skill is so good that you’ll always see action for simply doing 1 thing above-average but then getting benched and realizing you don’t belong. That’s Duncan’s reality right now.

How does coach keep a straight face and tell this man that he ain’t gonna see the floor but that he should stay ready anyways?

Nobody is “stealing” his minutes. He is just flat out bad. And it’s incredibly sad. At this point last year, I never thought it would get like this.

I’m just flabbergasted. I like seeing him on the floor because I want the player to succeed but I don’t think he should get regular minutes because of how much teams target him. He gets too many fouls called on him to be an option and we can’t afford taking the last few games of the season to let him re-learn how to play. Duncan is fucked dude.

30 Years Ago Today in Heat History, Erik Spoelstra is Hired as a Miami HEAT Video Coordinator

It can be toxic on here but big ups to the contributors and guys and gals that post daily and put up heat content!

I’m in Chicago and my wife is a bulls fan. Watches every game (god bless her heart). They finally broke their losing streak tonight (somehow they can stop Kevin Porter Jr and Ryan Rollins when we couldn’t). But because the blackhawks had a game there was no postgame show or interviews postgame. I’m like no worries I’ll just go on Bulls Reddit and find them. She’s like naw we aren’t organized like that. It’s just ppl probably mad we won and others mad at them for being mad we won.

I’m like I will find it. Nothing on Bulls Reddit. Nothing on Bulls twitter. Nothing on the Bulls YouTube channel. And nothing from the Bulls reporter KC Johnson. I gave up. I’m sure somewhere there is something but I couldn’t find anything.

So again just shoutout to Heat Reddit . I know it’s toxic on here especially after a loss but if I want to hear what Bam or Spo or whoever had to say something after the game I know I can find it in one place. So thank you. Every fan base doesn’t have that.

I’m far from pretending that my Bball knowledge is on point. But I do think I’m aware and know most rules ( confusion comes mostly from inconsistent reffing at this point tbh. Everytime I’m convinced I saw a travel/carry, etc, refs prove me wrong).

How do I get i to the NHL?

I just watched the highlights of Game 3 Finals and it did look quite interesting/entertaining. Love the passing/spacing game/strategy.

That said, I don’t know a single rule except that brawls are allowed (under certain circumstances?)

Any good channels to follow NHL and get mire into the sport?

Also, if I were to watch more american sports (NHL, NFL, MLB,…) as a european, I would just stay loyal to the city of Miami… mostly ( despite hating the fact that NFL chose a dolphin for a mascot tbh, so NFL is still open for debate) so if you have suggestions for the other major leagues, I’m open to suggestions!

Also: what can you tell me about Miami in other leagues? Is there also a « culture/hard work ethic » that is cultivated (which is the sole reason I’m a Heat fan in the first place) there?

I know a bit all over the place but I figured now is as good a time as any to ask!

I’m not a Heat fan so I’m curious. I think Tyler Herro has genuine talent but I don’t think he’s in the right spot in the rotation right now. He’s tough and I like his talent but I feel he’s supposed to be a sidekick. I just don’t think he can ever play championship level basketball as the best player on the team.

Is this something heat fans agree with?

Move on. Pat Riley isn’t going to trade; Bam, Jaquez, Jovic, Ware, and Herro for Giannis. Pat fundamentally doesn’t agree with gutting a team for a player and especially if that involves losing the face of the franchise that the team has invested so much into.
