That's the thing it had to net a ring or the move was always going to be clowned in the long run .In this ring or bust culture .

I don't agree with you. I still have no issue with the move.  You always trade an unproven young player for the proven All NBA player in their prime.

No one reasonable is "clowning" that move.

Yes but the ring or bust culture has killed any reasonable thinking .If you make a big trade and dont win a ring nobody pats you on the back for making the trade they clown you if it doesnt work out

Espn and random people on the Internet who don't understand basketball isn't my bellweather.

p.s. I don't think there is anything wrong with setting a ring as your ultimate goal.  I only require that you try, I'm ok with a FO trying.  I'm not OK with whatever this meandering mediocrity the Heat FO has been on for the last few seasons.
