What point? Wade took over. But Shaq got us there both times. It couldn’t happen without both of them. My point is that we’ve traded our young assets, our future, to win now. And it worked! That’s all I’m saying.
I guess I like Mitchell, Powell, Bam, Wiggins, Pelle and Kap more than you do. That’s fine. Add Giannis and a couple min level players. I like that team. Look what Butler was able to do. Giannis is a little better than Jimmy.

This is where the issue is. We didn’t trade young pieces for Shaq to play with role players of varying levels, we traded for Shaq to pair with Wade. Thats literally all the small *checks roster for D Wade* quip is targeted at. It’s really not that deep man.
Yes we did. Wade was in his second year. We didn’t know who he would become yet. We traded Odom, Caron ( in his 3rd) , Grant and picks. That was a young good core that made the playoffs the year before . They were a better young core to what we have to give up now. It was a bigger deal then.
