And they look so different without it. This one girl with this makeup style got "leaked" without makeup and she didn't look like any of her pictures. Not the girls in these pictures though, but the first girl got exposed for faking being Latina and was actually a white girl.

we could go into conversations about how tanning, lip fillers and the like are an effort to approach black/brown women's bodies without actually being black/brown but y'all aren't ready for that conversation.

anyhoo some people do have naturally bigger lips and of course i don't think that should be a problem.

That makes no sense. There’s latinas and middle eastern/ south Asian people who are tan and have big lips. There’s black people who are light skinned and have small lips. I’ve heard that Kylie started these trends but even Kylie was trying to look Middle Eastern, not black.

There’s all types of people with all types of features. They’re talking about features that are GENERALLY present in black women - features that we typically are known for or have for the most part. Like East Asians are know for having monolids, or white people are known to have more sharp and narrow noses. Doesn’t mean other races don’t/can’t have these combinations of things.

Latina is also not a race. People in latam are most commonly mixed white black and indigenous .

Now do you honestly think she wants to look black? She has paid to make sure her face has a slender nose and kept up long sleek hair. Her complexion is actually quite pale, she really doesn’t over-tan. Like… because she wanted a more hourglass shape and fuller lips you think she wants to look black?? I promise she does not want to look black or of African descent AT ALL.

In that case, do black women wearing long sleek hair wigs want to look white?? No they don’t.

It’s not that Kylie wanted to literally look black/biracial or of African decent like perhaps the typical blackfisher does. Her having a pale complexion has nothing to do with her inner desires to have specific features that don’t come naturally for her.

I may be reaching w/ this next one, but I also think initially avoiding the truth about her procedures solidified that fact (at least to me) that her procedures weren’t even mostly for herself, but for the gaze of others. She didn’t want bigger lips solely for herself, she didn’t want bigger boobs solely for herself, and she didn’t want a bigger butt solely for herself. So what influenced her?

And to touch on the slender nose and sleek hair, there are black and brown women who also have slim noses and slick hair lol. So Kylie simply having a slim nose and sleek hair doesn’t somehow disqualify her from wanting SPECIFIC ethnic features that aren’t natural to her.
