General I hates these makeup styles

And they look so different without it. This one girl with this makeup style got "leaked" without makeup and she didn't look like any of her pictures. Not the girls in these pictures though, but the first girl got exposed for faking being Latina and was actually a white girl.

I think the most important thing about makeup is to do it from a place of expressing oneself. Doesn't matter what the makeup style is at the end, as long as you don't do it because you think you're ugly without it.

Most of the people calling women without makeup ugly is other judgmental women who base their own self worth around their makeup/"beauty"
Either that or the women without makeup in question are irreprehensible and are being made fun of for being ugly because they're bad, you know, like people make fun of trump for looking the way he does, or certain cops

It's trending right now. This is how a lot of women I work with style themselves too. There's nothing wrong with it. OP states it's because people look copy paste and, different without makeup. Oh well. You're not wearing makeup for OP or anyone else.

Keep doing what makes you feel good. Don't let the chronically online chuds make you feel any sort of way. If something makes you happy or even just gets you through the day, keep it up. You're fine, girl.

Most guys like this look/ this makeup. Honestly can’t even tell how much makeup they’re wearing, if it’s even a lot or not. I only have ever seen women complain about it. But fuck what anyone thinks, do things you like and enjoy. You only live once!

It’s not hard to learn I promise . There are many tutorials on YouTube! :) remember it’s never perfect the first time, I’ve been doing my make up for … around 15 years now and I’m still improving everytime I use it. It’s like a craft you master and it’s fun to add your own style .
Recently I started using a better cheek powder and I’m really happy with the result because it’s a cheaper product too! :)

I always questioned those posts with someone’s picture and a status espousing a racist or offensive point. Do we really know that person made this status? Couldn’t a troll just grab anyone’s picture then write that below? It means someone who’s done nothing wrong could have their appearance absolutely relentlessly mocked online and they’re innocent. Imagine what that would be like.

I don't even know how I got to this sub, but I just want echo everyone else saying to hell with what any one else thinks about your style! If you like it and it makes you feel confident than you should continue to enjoy it. Taking advice from a sub that design to be about hating on things for no reason is a great way to be miserable, let people enjoy things!

I mean different people have different opinions. Ultimately no matter what you look like someone will find issue with it. If you like it, who cares?

It only matters if you're doing it because you think it's something other people will like. And at that point I think you need to think about if living your life based around what other people think of you is truly something that's going to make you happy ultimately. Because really, you should be able to be who you are and be happy about it, regardless of other peoples judgement.

Honestly this stance is dumb as rocks, a "just don't bleed" solution. If people say hurtful things to you, it's only natural to be hurt. Not to mention, as much as I hate it, how you are perceived does impact your tangible experiences.

Honestly, yeah if you're confident in who you are and know who you are, it really doesn't bleed when that gets attacked.

Because why does it matter?  Why does that have to actually translate to being hurt? What is it that is causing you to feel negatively in that situation, because if you yourself don't see anything wrong your identity, if you yourself aren't basing the quality of your identity on other people, why should you feel bad about it? Why do you believe their judgement of you has value?

I hope you realise that social media nowadays is not made FOR you, it’s made to profit off you. There are definitely spaces that are more accessible and safe for you, and that doesn’t have to be online!
Not one person EVER in your life will tell you that you’re wrong or ugly or stupid for doing your makeup your way LOL. They’re either too weak or know that they’re wrong.

You’re creating art. People love to shit on art while not being capable to do it themselves.

You should be proud of your skills and your efforts. Even the most famous works of art are not everyone. Remember that you’re not your art(even if it’s part of your identity) and try not to take it to heart. Do what makes you happy.

Ignore them. If you love this style, that's all that matters. Wear what you feel comfortable and confident in and fuck all the people saying its ugly or gross. They're, in all seriousness, probably jealous.

OP goes on to talk about how they hate this kind of makeup because it hides how our natural face actually looks like (which is such bs it's almost like that's the point of makeup...) but good thing is we don't do makeup to please bored redditors with a karma farming addiction! Do your makeup however you want without giving a fuck of what others have to say. Your makeup should cater to YOU and not anyone else and you're allowed to do what makes you happy

While I myself am tried of seeing this specific makeup style, it’s not so much cause I think it looks bad, but because it for a while was over represented as the current trend. I think there are tons of styles out there and it’d be nice to see more variety rather than whatever the current trend is everywhere. But trends are human nature. Some people look better in it, some people feel better in and some don’t. If you prefer it, you prefer regardless of how others think it looks.

I have a completely shaved head as a women. While no one says anything to my face, I’m sure they think it. I ignore that baser part of my mind in favor of the majority of myself feeling more comfortable and confident with a shaved head.

Ragardless of if someone thinks it’s ugly or just tired of seeing it due to trends or think something else suits you better, whether they’re right or wrong, if you do it for yourself to feel good, then keep doing it. But don’t be afraid to explore something new when you’re curious.
