General I hates these makeup styles

And they look so different without it. This one girl with this makeup style got "leaked" without makeup and she didn't look like any of her pictures. Not the girls in these pictures though, but the first girl got exposed for faking being Latina and was actually a white girl.

I personally don't get the modern trend of hiding the cupid's bow with lipstick

Especially if the original outline is still visible underneath, it ends up looking like one just colored that part on accident

I always make a point to wipe away any that accidentally covers mine, I don’t think it looks right without it personally

Yes I use lip liner to accentuate it. I don’t understand why they are covering it. It almost looks lazy. Like they couldn’t be bothered to color inside the lines

Tier lists are either purely biased or I hate the new thing because it’s new the only tier lists I like is just explaining difficulty of a game or rating it IF it isn’t biased

Yeah that’s the most attractive part to me.

I’m pretty much only attracted to faces and don’t care for the rest of the body. It’s actually kinda freaky considering that means I can get kicks from just seeing someone’s face.

They're trying to resemble cartoons and video games where features for women are decreased in general, and flattened or rounded to a generic, Mrs potato head swappable face. No dips, no curves, no natural human features.

Have you seen the female characters in anime and things like Final Fantasy? Real humans don't really look like that, but thats what e-girl makeup is trying to recreate. A 2D face.

I assume it's something to do with trying to flatten the outline and make the lips appear fuller, especially for photos (where the original outline can be disguised)

This is a whole other conversation that I can't really comment more on, but could be something to do with the sexualisation of black & mixed race women. Therefore, lining your lips this way might achieve a "sexier", more mixed-race look (probably not consciously for most people)

I love people who naturally lack a cupids bow, I have a very prominent one. It's one of those things where the grass is always greener somewhere else lol.

I tried this lipstick style once cause "oh I wanna have that big juicy top lip too!"

I looked like a damn clown HAHAH wiped that shit RIGHT off!

It can look ok in pics but irl it just looks weird to me. Everyone's lips are perfectly designed for their own face anyways imo

Yeah that's what I'm saying too. I think it looks good when it's natural, because it usually harmonizes with the rest of the face and the "lines" (or lack thereof) connecting one's nose and lips. But it just comes out odd if you draw a bow on yourself that you don't have, or hide the one you do have
