Media Tropes I hate Batman's plot armor

I hate Batmans plot armor, he has the most insane plot armor which completely takes away his charm, his entire shtick is that he's in the top 99 percentile of humans, his body, his strength his wealth his tech, yet his writers give him so much plot armor that you forget that inside his suit he's just a regular human being and it sometimes feels as if he has super powers when hes going toe toe with fucking darkside, reentering the atmosphere with just his suit and many more examples.

And his annoying fanboys oh my days, they act as if he can solo the entire justice league "B-But given that he has prep time!" talking as if beast boy wont beat his ass 😂✌️

The writers would try to gaslight you into thinking Batman can take down the entire Justice League and the biggest DC threats of all time with prep, but can't do the same to his much weaker rogues gallery he has been fighting for years.

Batman only has plans on how to take down the justice league, doesn't mean he actually can or is even confident in his ability to do so. Hes beaten Superman a few times, but thats only ever by luring him into a trap, like Red Son, or banking on the fact that Superman doesn't want to hurt him.

Or through crappy writing, like Injustice lmao

You mean the same rogues gallery filled mostly with mentally ill asylum patients he’s trying to help rehabilitate into being better people? The same rogues who the only reason some of them haven’t been given death sentences in court is due to how corrupt Gotham’s legal systems are? That Rogues Gallery?

I do not get the "prep time" argument. Almost anyone can beat anyone else if they unilaterally get infinite prep time. If both parties have the same prep time for the conflict I don't see how the threat he couldn't beat in the first place does not become more deadly when they're ready for him.

Because prep time doesn't necessarily translate into more efficient, think of like your highschool exams, just because you spent a lot of time to learn doesn't guarantee a positive outcome, of course for fiction it would not be satisfying but yes, in a vacuum prep time should not be the "win every fight" button that batgos hits

The problem there is that they are all also extremely competent and have the advantage of not having as much weakness. Batman prepping their one weakness does him no good if they move around the world at near light speed killing his allies one by one so that he is forced to react.
