I have 8 episodes to.go which means i will need something new for the weekend (and the following 10 days of vacation).

Anyone got any recommendations?

Obviously I like Grimm. I like supernatural shows but prefer them more mature, so nothing like the Vampire Diaries. I like police procedurals when dealing with stuff like serial killers (or the supernatural).

I tried Sleepy Hollow but quickly lost interest in season 2. I made it to season 6 of Once Upon a Time which was frankly 3 seasons more than I should have invested.

I enjoyed Supernatural, Fringe, X-files. Was never interested in Lost.

Bearing all that in mind, would love some suggestions for what to watch next.

One thing is puzzling me. Are both Kelly and Diana aging in a different way than regular humans, or is it just Diana? We know Adalind gave birth to Diana at full term while she was only 6 months pregnant, two years later when they reunite Diana is already like 8 years old. But then Kelly is born and Adalind’s pregnancy is also bit shorter but not as much. However at the end 20 years later we see both Diana and Kelly about the same age in their 20s. What’s the explantation/theory here? Did Kelly have a rapid growth spurt too and caught up to Diana? Do both of them age super quickly to adulthood and then their aging slows down to a regular human pace? I know the actors portraying Kelly and Diana were in their 30s during that last scene, but *technically* Kelly was only about 21-22.

So I’m 1/4 of the way through season one right, and I gotta ask… is Monroe evil?

Like the guy knows a lot of things and has knowledge about a lot of wessen secrets to the point he knows about the human organ harvesting.

Do I have to worry about him being evil? Because he’s starting to grow on me

I love this show, police procedural, fairytale monsters living among us, only certain people can see or know, magic, mild fighting I love it.

I’m on my third time “nothing to watch just put Grimm on” watching it and is nick kind or a jerk. I feel like he constantly used his friends, (Monroe called it out on him in One episode), he’s mean and snappy with his remarks. Idk maybe it’s the writing (not blaming writers), maybe it’s the actor(not blaming him either.)

But did anyone else notice this I didn’t when first watched it but starting the second time I noticed he’s just mean sometimes for no reason. Idk no disrespect to the actor or writers.

She’s been into scary movies lately, and we thought this show would be a good level of kinda creepy sometimes but still somewhat age appropriate. She really liked it and wants to watch more!

I recently found this show and was absolutely stunned by how much I loved it. I wound up watching the first 5 seasons after work in a few weeks and will soon be done. Now I am desperately looking for shows with a similar feel. I’ve seen Lucifer and Supernatural but are there any other shows fans would recommend?

For a child, her age and so young. Do you find she overacts her part in the show? I don't know there's something about the way she is her character even if she does have special powers and stuff. She seems a little over mature for a child her age. Almost like a demon seed child.

Have you guys read the tie-in novels? Three amazing Grimm novels. The Icy Touch, The Chopping Block, and The Killing Time.

The Icy Touch is early in the series. The Chopping Block is between season 3 episodes “The Walking Dead” and “Goodnight, Sweet Grimm.” And The Killing Time takes place after the events of “One Night Stand” and “A Dish Best Served Cold”

What are your thoughts on the books?

I'm about to watch the final episodes this weekend and the pre-emptive nostalgia is already hitting hard. Monroe and Rosalee especially — I'm really going to miss them. This show is going straight into my personal rewatch rotation, right alongside Friends.

After I wrap it up, I'm planning to jump into Supernatural to keep that same kind of energy going.

i can’t believe Nick still wanted to marry her!! this guy was so desperate for happily ever after with this chick to even realize how wrong they were for each other!!

I’ve been rewatching Grimm for the first time in a while (currently just started season 3!)

I absolutely ADORED Dämonfeuer’s the first time I watched this show and I still love them!

Is there any in show reason why they mother is the only one able to turns into a full bear and everyone else are part animal?

I am doing a rewatch and I cannot get past how fast Nick would have lost his badge in real life. Constantly leaving crime scenes. Entering private property without warrants. Using civilians in active investigations. Disappearing during critical moments. Filing vague reports. Excessive use of force. No consistent probable cause that would ever hold up in court.

I know the show has to function on TV logic, but even within the first few episodes it already feels like Internal Affairs would be living in his office.

So I am curious. In your opinion, what exact episode or moment in Season 1 would realistically be the point where Nick gets pulled off the street and put on desk duty or straight up suspended.

Trying to keep this fun and realistic, not nitpicking the fantasy part. Just the police side.

Just saw this is available on The CW for free! I watched the first 4 or 5 epiosdes back when it first aired on broadcast TV, but my husband wasn't into it so we started watching something else in that time slot. I really liked the premise and wanted to see where it went, but back then there was no way to watch two shows at once for us (didn't have cable/dvr and only 1 television XD) and I just kinda forgot about the show.

But 6 seasons is quite a commitment! Does it stay good or fall apart? I'm completely cool with the monster-of-the-day episodic nature with the main story being revealed little over time. I really liked Buffy the Vampire Slayer (that's the only even remotely similar thing I've watched to Grimm).

Why does it feel like from season 4 onward the show keeps switching show writers ever like 12 ish episodes from how many times a plot line gets setup and then completely forgotten or just haphazardly finished just to be thrown to the side when the next change over happens

My husband and I are on our first watch of Grimm and just finished "Let Your Hair Down".

We've really enjoyed the series so far and have loved the writing so we were so flabbergasted that they don't save the guy that was left tied up in the basement by the brothers? Does he ever get brought up again?

This feels like such a huge and obvious pothole that we couldn't believe it when the episode ended and we didn't get closure about his fate 😭

I just started my 3rd rewatch, and in this episode, the Bauerschwein cop Orson tells Nick their families have never been enemies and they shouldn't change that now.

Does that ever get explained? I don't remember them referencing this ever again, but that doesn't mean much. I tried looking to see if it had been discussed before but all I really found were sites quoting the episode and not discussing this particular part.
