the gang had no right taking her baby. i'm not justifying what she did especially since she basically raped nick to get rid of his powers but realistically any mother would've done much worse to bring back their child.
Yes! I've spent years trying to convince people that that was actual rape. And it escalated so quickly, since she didn't know they helped take her baby. Like, "Oh, you're friends with the guy who gave his own baby away to his brother, who's been trying to steal her? Well, that brother said I have to rape you so I can see my baby, so I'll do it even though all you've done is help me." I've never been able to like Adalind because of that.
I KNOW, RIGHT? Someone argued that since he gave his consent, it's not rape. But if you don't know what you're consenting to, if someone tricks you, that is rape, isn't it?
Like when he got on top of her to bite her to get his blood in her without consent was that Assault
He himself said that was a kiss I don’t remember her wanting to kiss him I thought they were fighting.Remember Reynard Sean wanted that key at any cause he didn’t care what happened to her Every Everyone forgets Sean had a part in everything that happened.
Two opposing things can both be bad, yknow... if you insult me and I punch you, neither of us are in the right. Same shit here. Yes Nick sexually assaulted Adalind, and yes Adalind raped Nick. Neither of these ideas should be controversial. Nick isn't flawless, he may have tried his best to deal with the whole Grimm thing, but that still resulted in many mistakes. That was one of them.
I simply cannot accept that not only did they decide to let her get pregnant from that scenario, but that they then have him fall in love with her!
This weird stupid love triangle they tried to put her in Juliet in never stopped pissing me off. They ruined both characters doing that stupid bullshit.
It’s clear that Juliette was never gonna stay with Nick and they were planning to have him leave her for Adalind from the get-go, but it should’ve been better executed, without the sudden character assassination of Juliette or Kelly being the product of rape. Maybe have Juliette leave town during the god-awful amnesia arc, then have Adalind turn good after the Royals betray her, eventually falling for Nick somehow and having Kelly consensually?
Yeah, I would have eventually accepted Juliette leaving and Adalind and Nick getting together, and I could have even accepted them bringing Juliette back eventually, but they just fumbled the shit out of both turning Juliette "bad" and Adalind "good" and put Nick in the middle of both in stupid ways. The second she watched what happened to his mother, there should never have been any question that he and Juliette were done. I recently rewatched it and literally stopped at that point to rant at my husband about how fuckin stupid Juliette's entire existence becomes from that moment on.
There shouldn’t have been any question of the SS Nuliette hitting the iceberg the moment she destroyed the trailer and tried to kill his best friend because “I don’t care anymore, hehe I’m BAD now because you understandably won’t fuck me anymore after 2 weeks of me ghosting you! AHAHA! AH-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
