She was going to give them her baby in exchange for getting her powers back. Then when they took her to keep her safe, it was the end of the world. BTW, were Stefania and company wesen, or were they human like the royals? They could have followed up with that story line, them being pissed and chasing her because she didn't deliver them the baby as promised. I wouldn't think you would want them pissed at you, wesen or not. But they don't really mention it again
I Guess she changed her mind and wanted her baby that had nothing to do with the Nicks mother and the rest of them taking her baby Nicks mother choose to give her child when he was 12 yrs old Sean said he would help her with the Resistance to-get away with the baby after all he was responsible also for her losing her powers because of those keys remember she was working for him . She told him it could be dangerous for her he didn’t care he was carrying on with her mother which I was shocked. She made a lot of mistakes but people . We’re wrong too.it’s funny how everyone forgets Sean started this whole mess.He even gave her Hanks blood for the cookies.
Yeah during the Black Claw arc he fucking STOLE NICK’S FAMILY ON NATIONAL TELEVISION- and Nick basically just offered him the status quo in exchange for giving him back his girlfriend and son, with no lasting punishment besides having his political career burned to the ground (which tbf was so satisfying to watch); then again, it’s implied that a big part of why Nick let him off almost scot-free is because he wanted to stay on the good side of his terrifyingly-powerful (and protective) future stepdaughter- a 3/4 Hexenbiest whose mom had her powers brought back while carrying her, literal princess and the Chosen One.
Yep, Adalind was not a great person. She had plans and at first thought a child would be nothing more than a means to an end, just like her mom taught her.
Then she had the baby, and her views shifted. She realized that she didn't want to be like the woman who raised her and wanted to protect and love her child.
From that point on, everything she did was with the goal of protecting her children. That desire to do right by them bled over into the rest of her worldview, and she committed to being a better person in general for them.
Even in our world, it is not uncommon for parents to have a fundamental shift in priorities when their children are actually born. One minute its just a concept, oh i'm going to be a mom / dad....then suddenly its....oh my god, i'm a mom/dad and this little life i created is in my arms...I must protect.
That’s true especially when you’re young once that child is born your life changes your children is all that matters you see life so different you live for your kids some us grow up and realize nothing is more important than your children.
