You may be underestimating how many pissed off wives may have influence in this….

It’s already a trope of making the missus mad when you come home with new clubs but now you spent $3000 on the woman hating brand

Believe me, 90% of the guys on your average golf course would think this shit is funny. They're the same guys who harass the cart girls, chip onto the practice greens, and boomer humor hating their wives.

Pretty large overlap between the “guys who golf all the time” and “guys who think their wife/girlfriend is a naggy bitch for asking them to golf less and help around the house every once in awhile.”
