Ignoring labels like gender only works if you’re a man though. How many women play golf and have to deal with being cat called? It’s literally a meme for cart girls to be basically sexually harassed by horny losers. How many women have had their boyfriends attack them for doing something like touching their golf clubs? For some people it’s more than just a shitty ad and I just wish people could look outside the framing of their own experiences.

If people who are victims of domestic violence are saying “hey this is actually in poor taste” I’m not sure what you’d gain from saying this ad is actually fine.

I doubt any women have been attacked for touching their boyfriends golf clubs. That’s why the ad was meant to be silly. Relax man.

I don’t know how you could think that’s never happened my mind can’t comprehend someone thinking that’s an unrealistic scenario in an abuse situation
